I had the chicken buffalo wrap for lunch and peach cobler for dessert. It was delicious. Totally recommend! Amazing food and great customer service!I came back for dinner. They food delicious as always.
Most restaurants bring glasses of water to your table; no water. In opinion the drinks are overpriced and the pork chop was not tender!
I have to say, the location was pretty good. You have plenty of parking and there is outdoor seating. The inside is pretty tight on the first floor. I was unable to see the second floor.The food was really good. I got the salmon and grits which came with collard greens. You can see from the picture that it was a descent size portion. Plus, the garlic bewad was a great addition. I didnt get any drinks. Yet, the drink menu had a nice selection. The drink must have been good because we constantly saw more and more drinks leave the bar.Speaking of the bar, and general staff, they could be a little more organized. While I didnt experience any issues, I heard very clearly from the bartender to the bouncer a power struggle for power. While there was a hostess, the bouncer initially tried to seat us. But then, the hostess after consulting the bartender sat us somewhere different. And the power struggle continued throughout the lunch.I would order the food here; yet I probably would not dine-in again.
I visited this establishment on Saturday March 26, 2022 and I had the pleasure of being served by Sydni! Sydni was very personable, attentive, a great listener, prompt and conveyed top tier customer service. While there I ordered the salmon and grits (seasoned well), topped with Gouda cheese, peppers, and collard greens. I have to admit I did not know how my palate would react to the collard greens and grits on the same plate but when I say it was de-lic-ious it was just that. The service we received from Sydni, the great tasting food, the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant will definitely leave you highly satisfied and cause you to return wanting more. Wow.I have been here a couple of times previously but none compares to this one. I am so glad service, food quality, and ambience has greatly increased since opening.Everything was amazing. Food was top tier, and our waitress Kayla was amazing as well.We will definitely be back, I’m glad I have it another try.

Listen!!! If you're ever in Winston-Salem, NC, you NEED to go to this restaurant. District 924 has been open for less than a year. The food and staff were wonderful! My picky eater husband was impressed with everything. He needed help walking out of the restaurant because he was stuffed trying every plate, lol. Every plate of food we had was delicious! Will definitely visit this place AGAIN!! ?❤

Omg. This is TRULY a Soul food restaurant. Everything I had was on point. I mean the sides, I could just east by themselves but every bite just had me dancing with joy. Friendly staff, clean area. What you see here from left to right:Chicken and waffles, peach cobbler (it came with ice cream) and some of their very delicious sides which is collard greens (seasoned to perfection), mac and cheese (I could probably eat a tray of this cause my goodness...) and candied yams(I'm running out of dictionary words to describe all this goodness)But rest assured District 924, I will DEFINITELY be back. Oh and if you plan on going on a weekend, a reservation is highly suggested especially on Sunday cause we all love some good soul food on a Sunday evening so you know it's gonna be packed.This is just good food for the soul all the way.
