I'm not an individual to leave bad reviews. I try to be very understanding of people. I buy from this particular restaurant almost every other day. I've had some good and some decent experiences. But today was a horrible one. After they handed me my food. The African American girl at the window slammed the window shut and said "bye". She realized she forgot my drinks and again slammed the window after she handed them to me. Didn't even close the lids properly and my soda was spilling so I took my time to close them up properly. The girl started making smart remarks and waving at me to move on. There was absolutely no one behind me. I could hear her loud voice saying come on come on. Seemed to me like she didn't want to be there or maybe she was in a rush. Again, I buy from this place every other day. The exact same order. And I've never had an experience like this at this particular restaurant. Hence my review. Perhaps, someone will see this and will make some adjustments or something. Meanwhile, I'll take a break from this place for a while. Food is ok for the most part. I really love those Big Double Burger Trays.
Really Cookout? This was a horrible experience today. 3 cheese bites in my tray, well what is there of the tray... Food is horrible today. What happened? Does no one like being at work today? Geez, and we do business there all the time at my workplace. Wow... My picture would show the atrocious tray and meal. Smh...
Yummy to my tummy! I just went there last night and I bought five milkshakes & a large fry to go one of them was for my son and the other four were for me because I just can't get enough of them, blueberry cheesecake milkshake, YUM YUM YUMMY
Went to Akron Dr cookout around 6:30pm tonight and got barbecue tray with hushpuppies and chicken rap with ranch. I didn't order hair with it just ranch. Barbecue sandwich didn't have very much barbecue. Hushpuppies were good but not freshly cooked. What has happened to your sweet tea??? This is 2nd time I have gotten watered-down sweet tea. Cookout used to have really good tea now it's watered-down so bad like ice water. Aren't employees supposed to be wearing masks and or hair covering??Beard coverings so no hair in food?? No one likes hair in their food.
Service is slow and food not hot but it will definitely knock off the hunger...
Food has made a dramatic change over the past few years for the worst. Burgers have gotten smaller than before, nuggets are either over cooked or cooked in old grease with not enough being given. Service has went down hill also. Ever since the management changed at the High Point N.Main St. Location everything has been going down.
What's not to like about cookout? The food is usually pretty good, same with the shakes.sometimes they struggle with the extra, when i ask for extra toppings in my wifes shake. It seems like they still make it normal. But other than the line sometimes taking awhile to get through, the food is hot and fresh.

Moved to North Carolina back in 96 and oh the joy of discovering a cookout milkshake then about 20 years ago my wife and I moved just of 150 near the 1 on peters creek been going there ever since then my son recently tells me that the place isn't as good as it used to be and I know the milkshakes he's been bringing home aren't the same quality so tonight I went with him the food was burned cold the girl asked me about my fries twice over speaker then tried to tell me I didn't order any which means $20 for 2 cheese burger and 1 chili dog didn't give me the recipe with items on it but when I got home some had taped 1 to bag with entire order so did she lie was she trying to rip me off kinda feels that way
I ask for a simple thing and they always seem to get something wrong or have something missing. Just the other day I wanted a cookie dough shake with NO chocoloate chip chunks, only the cookie dough. I asked for it about 3 times and they still gave me the chuncks. Tried again a couple days later and they gave me a chocolate shake with no cookie dough whatsoever. I don't know how much more clear I can say, "cookie dough shake with no chocolate chips, only cookie dough pieces" yet they still get it wrong. The food is delicious, but them mixing up my order gets annoying.
