Great food and service. Itâs a busy place so be sure to make a reservation.
Ordered takeout on a Saturday and hands down the worst food we have had in Winston-Salem. Obviously when you order takeout there isn’t an expectation it will be as good if it were served in-house, but the veal piccata was inedible. We were sure to place our order early in service, as it is a Saturday night and we did not want to overwhelm the kitchen. If you are going to market yourself as upscale Italian and charge those type of prices, this cannot be the product you are putting out. Perhaps reconsider serving takeout if this is the standard.
I was the only person of color in the restaurant. I ate by myself as a treat for the weeks work. I thought id go to a nice italian restaurant to celebrate. I was one of the first customers upon opening. Out of all the great empty seats they could have given me, they stashed me in the far back outside next to all the dusty storage and unused lighting fixtures and heat lamps in a corner were spider webs were starting to form all around the window, no air or fan was placed in the back. Far back from eyes view from the street. The salmon i got was tastless, dry, and lacked any flavor. The waiter swore by it but it seems she didnt know anything a good grilled salmon. This was my first and last time ever eating there.

The food was outstanding and the service was great. It has the feel of âCheersâ where everyone knows your name and they are glad you came. Bravo to the chefs. Cannot wait to go back.
Glad I gave this a try after seeing such wildly mixed reviews — I understand why now. My lobster medallions in cognac sauce with mushroom risotto and Brussel spouts was delicious — real comfort food that I absolutely would go back for. We tried two desserts — cannoli and rum cake — but they were far too sweet and the sugar just drowned all the flavors. Close to inedible. I did tell our waiter why we couldn’t finish them and he had clearly heard that complaint before. (I don’t hold out hope for any of the other desserts so after dinner I suggest you pop in at nearby Cheesecakes by Alex which was still busy at 9pm). Attentive, friendly and helpful service. Delightful side patio in the right weather with valet parking if you don’t want to walk a block or two.

What a great meal! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. In the past our experience here has been mixed but giving credit where it is due - tonightâs meal and service were fabulous!
