Great food friendly staff
The smoked wings are delicious. Avoid the ribs they taste like they are boiled and baked and have never known the sweet heat of a grill.
Was very disappointed with the ribs I ordered. They seemed like they were boiled and baked instead of smoked. No smoke flavor. The sauce was good. The sides were really good (green beans and okra). The rest of the table had onion ring ls and they were really good as well. Tired a few of the smoked wings. They were very good. Next time I’ll skip the ribs and order the smoked wings or brisket. Staff was very nice.
Food was acceptable. We were a slightly larger group so we had to sit in the area that did not have table service. Some of the food was really great and some of it was pretty poor. Decent prices but just missing some magic
We went to CC for dinner and then met friends here the next day. The atmosphere is really casual and the Halloween decor was really fun! It looks like they have a big carry out/catering business going too! Between our visits we had briskit, ribs pulled pork, beans, and mac and cheese. All the food was very good, no real showstoppers. I'd definitely go back.
This was "floating in grease" tri-tip I tried in a two item combo for lunch today. This was absolutely the worst attempt at a southern entree ever. Had it with the baby back ribs (sauce was extremely sweet). Sides (greens and Cole-slaw) were good I was amazed that anyone would serve any entree absolutely floating in grease. I need to emphasize "floating". The waitress offered a 25% discount on the meal. I shouldn't have paid anything but I just wanted to leave. This is my first visit to Winston Salem. My father's family is from North Carolina. I could feel them turning rapidly in their graves at this sacrilege.
Once again another great BBQ meal at Camel City. Pulled Pork sandwich and Triple Mac & Cheese were delicious. Michelle at the Bar served up the lunch and was very attentive.
my daughter and i got 2 85 dollar parking tickets for parking in the parking lot of the restaurant. The manager on the phone was HORRIBLE. no more service from our family!
I was so excited to enjoy some authentic NC BBQ, and Camel City BBQ delivered. Loved their pulled pork and sweet potato poppers. Look forward to a return visit.
I have enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but the service they use to monitor their parking has completely ruined this for me. I paid for the parking but due to a typo on the app that I gave proof for in the appeal portal they are saying I owe $52 for an hour and a half of parking I paid for while I was at the restaurant.
