Great food, amazing service, and friendly staff!
The food was good. Meat and vegetables. A few different specials each day. The service was good, but seemed kinda slow for lunch. A meat, three vegetables, soda, & tip $15.
Must have been a bad day for restaurants. Marcos was terrible and I go next door to Cagney's to get 2 side salads since Marcos didn't have any and this is what I paid $9.10 for. I should have just went to the grocery store.
This is the spot to be! Cagneys is a fantastic restaurant with a very friendly staff, amazing food, fair prices and wonderful family environment! This is a great place for any meal! Breakfast, lunch or dinner! Shout out to Jackie for always being so kind and caring! She sure knows how to make you feel welcome! Thankful to have found such a great restaurant!
Me and my friend went here. Our food was burnt and had no taste. The waitress was aware, but didn't offer to make it right. I had the Carolina burger which has chili, slaw, cheese, mustard and onions. I originally left off the slaw and mustard because I thought, how could you go wrong with a Carolina burger with hot fresh chili. I added the slaw and mustard, but it didn't help. I took a good look at the chili and it looked liked dog mush. Orange with white specs. No meat, no taste. It actually looked like dog food. Chili is what makes the Carolina burger. This was disgusting. I talked to owner Lewan, and he didn't offer anything to make it right. My friends, if you are ever in Winston-Salem, go to Cagneys at Cloverdale. They are the real deal and the owners care what their customers say and they serve food that doesn't look like it was burned at 500 f or food that looks like dog food. DO NOT EAT AT THE OLD SALISBURY LOCATION. I have put pictures of what was supposed to be chili below.
I went to cagney's because it's close by, ordered my food over the phone. Went to pick it up and when I got home which is 5 mins down the road I opened my box of food and the lettuce was slimy. I was so disappointed. Why is it every where you go these days unless you eat in every thing is sent out nasty. Very disappointed due to the garbage put in my box. If it's past being usable throw it out.Thanks probably want be back there no more.
After being stand up for almost 5 minutes waiting to be seated, while manager and personnel passing by without saying a word and restaurant at 95% empty; I'm disappointed.Waitress was great!
Our waitress was great! She checked on us MULTIPLE times. All wait staff could learn a lot from her. Just wish I could remember her name so she could be recognized by her boss. The food was good also. ?
We all were pleased with the food that we ordered. However, the restaurant was crowded to the door. The had a section that was when we arrived. Yet, they chose to set us (party of 8) right in front of the entryway. No space to move.
First time trying here. I wanted a good hearty down home cooked breakfast and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly. I honestly don’t remember my waitress name, but she was a complete sweetheart. I got the weekday special that comes with a drink. Very affordably priced menu.
