I’m new Winston-Salem. My new coworkers brought me to Alma Mexicana for lunch, so I had to take my wife for dinner, because it was so good. This time last that went, we went with friends. The staff is also great. They let our group stay few minutes after closing to finish our conversation. It was a great experience. Im sure you will enjoy too.
I've been to Alma multiple times now and I can honestly say this is the best Mexican spot in Winston. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the staff is so friendly and attentive. The food and drinks always deliver!

I have always wanted to go to Alma Mexicana restaurant but has yet to have the chance until last night and it was an absolute pleasure. Not only was the food delish and the atmosphere great, but the servers/staff were so very pleasant and incredibly helpful!!!! The margaritas were so good (especially the blackberry margarita) and the food was awesome. We will definitely be back!
This place has lost its sparkle. I was a regular customer when I lived downtown and they opened their doors. The cocktails were amazing, the food was top notch and now it’s just lackluster. All of my favorite menu items are now gone and they are charging $16 for what they call shareables or small plates. Really the only other thing on the menu is tacos that you can opt to turn into a rice bowl. I miss the ceviche options, the lamb chops, and all of the unique offerings that made Alma special. So sad… ordered grilled shrimp tacos. Not grilled, boiled.

Best Tacos that we had in Miami so far. The Mexican food tastes authentic unlike many of the other places in South Beach. Very clean and a nice vibe, and servers were great too!

So yesterday, I stopped by Alma Mexicana for lunch with my co worker. Our server, I believe his name was Kyle, had so much energy and was very helpful with our selection with our food. He was fun and a fresh spark of energy that we needed. We appreciate him and the staff for being so fast and helpful. Would highly recommend them any day of the week.
