I've eaten here several times. Breakfast sandwiches aren't bad, but lunch sandwiches aren't particularly fresh tasting. The bread by afternoon is tasting like it was baked a day or two ago and it's difficult to enjoy that dried out.After her third attempt eating here, my wife doesn't want to return.
Love the location, we were introduced to this by local friends. We'll be sure to come back on our next visit to Winston-Salem, every breakfast item we tried was delicious!

Good quality products. Kitchen can be a little slow. Took 30 minutes to get a breakfast biscuit so plan accordingly.
staff is friendly, extensive vegetarian and vegan options. the market is a great place to pick up some fresh veggies or that one or two ingredients you forgot. great beer and wine selection, lots of local options. BEST biscuit in the city (sorry krankies fans, but it’s true & undeniable - acadia has you beat). if you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out.
Amazing sandwiches, the bread to the house made sauerkraut...all legit! The Ruben was super tasty and piled high! The Italian on caibatta roll was delicious, kids grilled cheese and the fruit cup was delicious!
LOVE this place. I go there weekly, sometimes just to grab a coffee or coffee and pastry or a sandwich!! The blackberry pie is a drug… If I order a sandwich, sometimes I takes a little longer to make but if I’m in a rush I just call ahead! 1000% worth any wait!
Went for breakfast. The food was great, employees exceptional, but very pricey. Lots of organic local farm to table options in the grocery section, which is refreshing. I will re-visit ☺
