Malaysian Asian Fusion Ramen

Everything I’ve had from here is so good! Great service and even better food. It’s a small restaurant, unassuming from the outside, but it’s 100% worth it.

Our dishes looked nothing like the pictures. The ramen soup noodles were exactly identical to the style in ramen packages on the shelf. There was very little to our dishes in the way of ingredients or roasted pork that was ordered. The udon noodles were not cooked well and again the dish left a lot to be desired. We both had stomach aches this evening. I felt like both of our dishes were microwaved. They came out fast, about the same amount of time as instant pho and ramen would take.

Started with a summer roll. Sauce was delicious. Pickled radish on the side was also delicious. Roll was loosely constructed and fell to pieces. For the entree I ordered Malaysian Curried Tofu and vegetables. Malaysian curry noodle soup with tofu was delivered to the table instead. I'd come close to ordering that anyway so I just dug in. Broth was delicious with a nice little kick of heat. Vegetables were fresh and good. Only had three pieces of tofu but those were also good. The udon style noodles in the dish were on the edge of rancid and turned my stomach. I ate all the veg and the bit of tofu and about half the broth before the odor of the noodles killed my appetite. Told the waitress the noodles were bad. She expressed surprise and that was it.Disappointed. Has been looking forward to the meal all day. Oh well, plenty of alternatives around.

If you are looking for a restaurant that is unique and possibly one of the best kept secrets in Winston Salem this is the place for you. They have an extraordinary cuisine with distinct taste that will have you wishing for more. We love the quiet atmosphere with relaxing music making this a wonderful dining experience.

As a Malaysian, I would say avoid. Not authentic. With a dish name there is an expectancy of how it should taste or look. This was not met for the Char Kueh Teow, curry noodles or Hokkien mee. If you have never tasted these dishes in Malaysia, it does not matter but I personally wish they would remove 'Malaysia' from the shop name. So mensiasuikan.

Great food! I love Malaysian food because it has so many different influences from Indian to Chinese to Thai and so many more. This is the only Malaysian restaurant in WS and a decent option. The Char kew teow in particular was delicious! Noodles are fat and chewy with great flavor. Very similar to beef hofan. The roti canai was also deliciously flaky and chewy. The chicken satay was very flavorful and tender and juicy paired with a great peanut sauce. The fried rice was very reminiscent of my mom's fried rice, which is a great compliment. I wish they had more onions/green onions, but still delicious. The beef rendang was somewhat disappointing. The beef was not as juicy and tender as it should have been. Overall, we will definitely be coming back because most of the things we tried were great-- especially for WS where it is hard to find decent Asian food.

Fantastic flavors in our large takeout order that got every item correct! A bit of a challenge understanding the order taker obviously didn’t get in the way. Next time we may get a bit more adventurous on the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was calm and quiet. Will for sure be returning!

We were in the nook .. and had lunch @ 18 Malaysia. The food is a bit on sweeter side, but fresh. No complaints on the service too.

A personal favorite place of mine and my friends. We eat here weekly and everything on the menu is good. There are a nice mix of more and less traditional foods so there's something for everyone's tastebuds. One of my favorite restaurants in Winston-Salem.
