Cool relaxed vibe in a laid back environment. Sublime, to describe it in a word. I had two Jamaican beef patties and a diet coke. My youngest boy had one. My eldest who kept urging us to stop there for lunch had the small curry chicken plate.It was all phenomenal. My beef patties took me back to Brooklyn in the 1980's flaky savory and a twinge of spice just perfect. My son's small curry chicken plate.Well for one it wasn't small it was curry chicken, plantains, rice with peas, and a Jamaican style cabbage. For 12.99 I was shocked. More shocked when he ate the whole thing minus two small bones faster than I could eat two beef patties. If your in Wilson come on and enjoy. It's a secret gem worth the time to discover.

Their convience store is located nextdoor. I picked up a few items I haven't seen in Philly. If I'm ever in Wilson NC again, I'll definitely stop in.
This has become my favorite Jamaican restaurant. Even my kids enjoy coming cause they serve some of the most flavorable ice cream with the super cone. But yea,oxtails,jerk chicken wings plus they have a grocery store next door,( Say Fresh)
A fellow passenger on Amtrak suggested I stop here, glad I did. The owners are really cool and down to earth! It’s right across the street from the station. But they also deliver! YUM!! I LOVE the oxtails!!!!!! Delicious! And the Sorrel goes perfectly with the food! I learned the owners mom use to cook for Bob Marley’s wife. Come here and eat, you won’t be sorry! I’m ordering their cookbook online today! Will def stop here when I’m traveling through again!

I always eat here and the family. We absolutely love the food.The few times we been they had no brown stew chicken so the young lady told me to call ahead of time and I did and the lady answer the phone said they didn’t open til 12. I said the website says 11; So which one is it. SmhPlease change the time on your website if you changed your times.We come a long way to eat here I just wish they get it together like for real.Will see how this visit goes .Smh
