We were famished, so my honey took me to his hometown in Wilson, N.C Mayflower. He was very embarrassed of the lack of service received. Waitress never came to the table. We were patient at first understanding shortage. Middle age black lady kept passing by, complaining, just non productive. After 15 minutes of nothing we left, along with others. I mean no water at the table, no I'll be with you. Nothing! Management if you have cameras take a look. Unacceptable service. Will never return.
Food always hot and the services was excellentNormally I will order to go but this was my first time dining in and the dining room was clean and quite.
Food was okay, service was good. Portions were great.My sweet potato was definitely overcooked and the fish needed more seasoning. Hush puppies were good. But there ranch dressing is delicious! Overall pretty decent food.
It was a nice gathering with Family. The staff seemed a little nervous when said a party of 15 but the waitress and everyone worked together to make it a good experience for us.
Obviously this isn't remotely close to a Red Lobster. The cajun catfish fillet was okay. I just think the food is very mediocre, you are probably better off cooking it yourself. Our waitress was really nice.I personally would never come back but my parents like going here from time to time.They also need upgrade their dining area. It looks unkept and dark. Looks very sad tbh
Went for dinner. Was really busy though had the flounder. Black side. The most meat. Will be going back. The waitress is always so very Profesional and friendly.
Was gonna to call to complain, the catfish was too soggy. Shrimp was bland, tasted boiled. Only time I was unsatisfied. Will probably go to Rocky Mount Mayflower next time.
There food is okay. I ordered Trout and jumbo shrimp with potato salad. It automatically comes with slaw and about 4-5 delicious hoop shaped hushpuppies. The slaw was okay could use some sugar. The potato salad was a little fishy tasting & bland. It really needed some sugar. The fish was seasoned in Cajun season but it had little flavor to me. I honestly could deal with all of that. The thing that made me decide I will never order their shrimp again is that they do not devein their shrimp. But again those hushpuppies are DELICIOUS!
Love that they still have the tables marked off every other for covid safety. The staff is so nice. The catfish is amazing!!! So was the tossed salad. I was very satisfied.
Always great food, one way for them to cut cost would be put just two hush puppies on a plate. The lady that waits our table is always great, I think her name is Mary, she has been there a long time.
