On a recent return trip to central PA from our annual Florida stay, we stopped at this gem of an eatery we discovered on last year's trip home. We hoped our delightful meal the previous year was not a "one hit wonder". For the second year in a row, we were again blown away by everything at Daniel's. I ordered the Seared Duck Breast and am a bit of a duck aficionado. I've never had any better anywhere. My wife ordered two small plates: Cornmeal dusted Oysters & Asparagus Bundles. Both were delightful with the former being little pillowy pockets of oyster with a thin crispy cornmeal dusting. Flavor, texture, presentation, service and value of all the food & wine was exceptional. Can't wait until our next visit! I hope the folks around Wilson appreciate the marvelous, high level, cozy dining establishment they have in Daniels. By the way, my martini rocked!

Daniel's is delish. Cute little restaurant, the Chinese dividers and candles make the the environment more intimate. The martinis are made with fresh garnish. Daniel gives a new spin on the Shrimp and grits. It's like He Fried the grits to a perfect crisp and the sauce just seals the deal with just enough kick! My fiance had the pork chop, it was sooooo juicy. The customer service is great and I didnt feel rushed to get thru my 3 course meal. Daniel's is definitely a secret gem!!! I'm coming back to try to cajun chicken pasta.?

Don't waste your time. Took 15 minutes to get refills on drinks. Steak had no flavor. Mashed potatoes taste like dish water. Complete garbage.

Wonderful place with awesome food!!!!

Everything!! service, food, atmosphere was excellent!! had our of town guests, and they loved it! They said best scallops appetizer they had ever eaten!! This restaurant is excellent!!

Wonderful deliciousness. The beef tips with a honey sauce was fabulous. Awesome wine list. This was truly a great spot. Also had several great deserts.

Food is pretty good about an 8 out of 10 our service was excellent cost was a little bit expensive for Wilson

My husband and I both had the ribeye steak - medium rare. It was seasoned just right and very very tender absolutely delicious with some fingerling potatoes and string beans. We will be visiting Daniels again??!

We loved our lunch. This was worth the drive from Raleigh and we’ll be back. The service was friendly and top notch. The food was even better. We had soup and sandwiches and everything was hot and fresh. The iced tea was even worth mentioning. We noticed how good it was! Thanks for a lovely lunch.

So very disheartened and disappointed by my visit to Daniel’s this evening. When I arrived at 6pm, I was able to get a parking spot by the entrance and there were few cars there. There was 1 person on the patio and 2 hostesses at the stand. When I said I could not sit at a high top table due to back issues, the hostess proceeded to discuss the reservations for 6:15, 6:45, 7, and 7:15. She made such a big deal over the business that “might” show up in an hour that I felt guilty for even darkening their doors. The hostess was relieved when I said I could go somewhere else to eat after listening to her litany for a solid 3 minutes. Truly a shame. Daniel’s normally has excellent food, but cannot understand why someone would think they cannot serve one customer because someone else is scheduled to arrive an hour later! Sad. I will not return. Why walk in to a nearly empty restaurant that doesn’t want customers.
