Have been a handful of times now .. usually only a few tables taken so you get seated right away and while the food is great and comes promptly the service and waitresses I’ve had are HORRIBLE.. I’m shocked to see so many people saying they had good service! It’s one of those places where you have to decide if you’re in the mood for piss poor service .. if you are, the food is great but if you are the kind of person who NEEDS good service and good food then this is not the place for you because after receiving horrible service you won’t even have an appetite to enjoy the food bc it’s just that bad!
Good food They just need a better soap in restroom. Still feel greasy aftwards

If you love seafood, you have to dine at Crab Du Jour. The service is nice and they make your food fairly fast. The food is always hot and good. They are always busy so that means a lot of people love it and you do not want to miss out! Every time I am craving seafood, I run to Crab Du Jour!
My in laws came in the other day. Expecting a great experience and were extremely excited about having seafood after a very important medical appointment in the area. So they chose to stop in and check out this establishment. Once they were “greeted” rather rudely. My father in law politely asked where the restroom was located. The waitress proceeded to turn and point and said “can you read the sign” as he has trouble getting around, I’d expect a person to give a decent response to a simple question. As my mother in law was “seated” this waitress verbally just threw her in a seat “you can sit here.” They sat and waited for over 30 minutes for no one to show up and at least take a drink order. I’ve read a couple of these reviews and others had similar experiences. I typically give the benefit of the doubt. From what I’ve read a rather new establishment in the seafood market, you’ve got to do better. A little southern hospitality goes a long way.
Not best pic but selfie my son took of us ... wish I'd taken food pics but was too busy eating & enjoying We went there Friday night My Daughter in law & I & 3 grandkids had been there for lunch few months ago saw they had Crawfish so being from Deep South wanted to treat family out to eat some.... Our group was 5 adults & 3 grandkids (11/9/2)- my 2 sons & families 3 adults had Boil bags ($54.99) mix of 3 choices of many seafood choices boiled with several options of seasoning choices/ desired Heat choice- mild medium or Hot They provided us Buckets and Bibs & gloves(didn't use) & wipes Food was yummy awesome came without much wait & Crawfish and Shrimp were great but Crab Legs were off the chain Also boil bags came with seasoned potatoes and corn on cobs... the cajun way Yum! One DIL got their Angry Crab Combo (39.99) she enjoyed said was deliciousI also having been there b4 got the child's plate (8.99) of Fried Shrimp w/fries their fries are yummy have had type at few places thru years don't know how describe other than like Flour Potatoes I make & I had great leftovers enjoyed next day!Anyway love their fried seafood its got great delicious coating fried to perfection One grand had Crab legs she ate up plus some of mine & 2yr old enjoyed his fried fish and friesOne DIL and granddaughter don't eat seafood they had Child's & Adult Chicken tenders which my granddaughter enjoyed Not many choices for folks who don't eat seafood SO Be Aware of that... she did enjoy 2 mixed drinks: 'Piece of heaven' she said were greatI tried crab fries appetizer lots mention in reviews they were ok just fries w/ crab meat & a yummy sauce I might get as lunch on another visit but many other choicesThe setup is great we were seated at a long table alot like we used to setup down South for Seafood boils Tables have paper which kids can color (given crayons) and draw on Our waiter was kind & helpful and tolerant of our big crowd Tip 18% was put on our ticket be aware It was a big expense but a fine experience & awesome time out with family that I would like do few times year plus wanna go for lunch again which that was pricey ($100+) with all things we tried & ate then But understand you get what you pay for and its well worth it... Seafood is not a cheap meal & if you enjoy eating great original cajun prepared seafood you'll agree its awesome & worth the visit plus you can do simpler & it not be as costly as we did.They were busy... doing a great business on Friday & I hope they continue & stick around for years to come...its rare to find restaurant serves this type of cuisine and many don't last sure hope these folks do cause they do it right & really have chosen to offer an awesome menu Yum! I worked for crab du jour in wilson for about a month and then I was blindsided and told i was fired out of nowhere. The manager, Connie seemed like a great manager at first and seemed very understanding. I found out after working for her that she is not. She has favoritism that’s very obvious. I feel very blindsided by her since i’ve never called out a day of me working here, i asked to go home an hour early one time and asked to have the next day off because i had a family ...
It’s hard to find fresh seafood inland, but Crab Du Jour knocks it out of the park! For starters- the crab fries are a must try as well as the hushpuppies. My fiancé and I always share the combination of crab legs, mussels, and shrimp with house mix and have not been disappointed. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and fast. It’s definitely become one of our favorite restaurants in town!
