Would give 10 stars if I could. By far the best donuts I’ve ever had. Favorite was the key lime. Must try if visiting the area!
Tried them today…strawberry & strawberry cheesecake both PHENOMENAL!! Maple bacon great & what expected! Purple Rain possibly the BEST donut I’ve ever eaten!! I move in 3 weeks & will be back before I do!!Been there several times…always phenomenal!!
Really amazing donuts. Just a classic glazed is far more superior that most donut shops around. 10/10 would buy again.
We were on a weekend getaway and found wake n bake donuts. Cute little place. Lots of different speciality donuts and coffee. The employees were friendly and patient while we figured out what we wanted. If we are ever in the area again we will be back!
A must visit place if you're in Carolina Beach. Unique and delicious.
While on vacation we dropped by the Wilimington store to check out the yummy looking donuts they showed on their website. But to our disappointment they only had plain donuts and croissants left. We asked if they were closing since it was only 2:30 pm and the hours on the window front and website said they closed at 4:30. The server responded with yes we are cause it was a holiday. I didn't know that St. Patrick's Day would cause businesses to close early!
Stopped here Sunday morning. Get here early if you want to have a selection of all the donuts they have for the day. They have different flavored donuts with unique toppings. The donuts we got was good but not great. Don't know as I would go out of my way to go back here.
Today was the first time we had doughnuts from Wake n Bake, but definitely not our last one. Their Boston cream and strawberry are amazing, so are the other flavors. We will go back soon to get some more.
I ❤️ ?!!!! Small donut shop in Wilmington with fun flavors and interesting combinations of toppings and fillings. Was tempted to try several….like the chocolate couch potato or the PB Get Bizzy but had only one, the Cinnabomb with cream cheese icing and cinnamon sugar. It was like a cinnamon danish. It was good but I probably would have enjoyed one of the other flavors more. They were having a special that day and gave a “house” donut with each purchase which looked like a plain cake donut but it was packed with flavors of Fall….subtle pumpkin and cinnamon. It was moist and tasty, better than the Cinnabomb in my opinion. Lesson learned…choose wisely and when in doubt, choose them all!
