Interesting place, bar down stars and venue upstairs. Definitely worth a visit especially if you like the band playing
Great atmosphere, on point with drink selection. Bartenders have great opinions. Door guys need a little more class for this atmosphere.
lots of people skipping and bouncers not doing anything about it. After standing in line and not moving a party bus pulls up and about 20 people skip the whole line and go straight in. When confronting the bouncer was told they are “influencers”.
Good live music on Thursdays and cheap drinks. Super fun.

Got kicked out for drinking water after I paid $20 to get in
bar tender and bouncers threw a man down the stairs mistakenly for the wrong person, and then refused video tape footage after authorities asked them too, which resulted in a civil law suit. "Authorities abusing power" is the best way to describe this new bar that already doesn't have up to par business. This new bar should not be able to have ownership of the building that they lease.
I do not recommend the party buses. My group had 3 party buses for 140 of us (max number varnish allowed) which was an absolute mistake. Each bus holds around 10-15 people… so you can imagine not even half of us had the opportunity to be in the bus. Also, the line outside varnish is terribly organized with people skipping the line nonstop. The cover fee is $10 for 18 year olds… won’t be going to club varnish anytime soon!

The bouncers at varnish love to assault other human being they can always handle things differently but they all choose violence they could’ve handle things differently I truly hope that things change and they hire better bouncers
