Got the egg rolls, gagged when I took a bite... the smell alone was horrific, smelled spoiled and the taste was bitter. I do not recommend...a year later I tried it again, small portions for what you pay for, and those eggs rolls haven't changed, still skunky smell and taste. Rather travel a few extra miles to another place..my theory is 2 strikes you are out, not 3..tried it again 2022 like a fool. Steam dumpling, meat is black inside, threw them out gagging. So done, don't waste your money
Visiting from northcoast and found a place for vegan style eastcoast Chinese! Tofu and textured soy protein meat substitutes for ANY menu item. Food is great. Very helpful/ friendly staff. Takeout only.
I don't know what's been going on with this place but the food seems to be of lesser quality than it used to be and much smaller portions. Ordered the fried pork dumplings through the whole order in the garbage they were so greasy and did not taste like pork at all. Used to go here quite but you won't see me going there again. Time to find a new place! $37.00 wasted my hard earned money!
I got the vegan roasted duck with the white rice and veggies and it was really good. That was the 1st time I've had vegan duck. I didn't really like the soy chicken cause they were dry and dense but ehh what do you expect sometimes with vegan food lol. Either way I liked the food and I'd go back again cause this was my 2nd time going. I'm from out of town so when I come Wilmington and I want vegan Chinese I recommend Uncle Lim's Kitchen
Delivery driver is extremely rude and unprofessional. I frequently order delivery from uncle Lims despite the fact it’s in walking distance. I also make sure to order directly from the store so the family can profit rather than GH or DD. Today while on lunch break I order delivery to my apartment as I have done a dozen times before with no issues. I receive a call from the driver who informs me I would have to come outside (in the rain) to get my food because “we don’t come inside apartments” I have provided drivers with the door code on multiple occasions and never had a problem having my food delivered TO MY FIRST FLOOR APT. The driver gets verbally abusive and argumentative so I hang up to avoid confrontation. I go outside and the driver is no where to be found. I stand outside (in the rain) waiting for the driver to return after he informed me he left because “ I hang him up” keep in mind I had nearly a 8$ tip for this driver who drove less than a mile. When he finally arrived he was driving recklessly through my complex with no regard for anyone’s safety, as I constantly see him doing around the area in his black Prius. I informed him to keep the change even though he genuinely did not deserve it. When I finally sat down to eat I had less than 10 minutes remaining to eat before returning to work. What do you know I open my takeout container to be greeted by a slimy,leaking , and incorrect order. Needles to say I likely will not order from here again. FU.UL
Always friendly, food is always flavorful, best in Wilmington, we drive from Leland for the food!
I have been ordering from Uncle Lim's for years and love it. I have lived in Wilmington over 20 years and THEY HAVE THE BEST CHINESE IN TOWN!!
Only 3 shrimp came in my shrimp and broccoli meal! Only 3! And my rice was crunchy! Never will I spend my hard earned money again!

Tasteless and bland!!!...spent $48 plus tip for delivery....the food showed up before estimate, however it was not good tasting. I was always told this take out was good, tonight I learned to never call again. Sorry Uncle Lim, but do better!
