We ordered 3 sandwich variations from here… all 3 were completely screwed up. The Baja chicken wrap had NO CHICKEN in it. Not to mention the additional 30 mins I had to wait past the time stated my order would be ready. I have tried to call to speak with someone regarding this matter, apparently you can’t even call them as their phones do not work and you can only leave a voicemail. I have left 5 voicemails and counting over the last 2 weeks regarding this and a refund for our wasted time and money. Still have yet to have a call returned. Absolute terrible customer service. Should be negative stars.

Literally the worst, slowest service ever. The kids just stand behind the register and talk to each other when there is like 10 people waiting. Waited 40 minutes since ordering my online order, and its usually around that amount of time everytime ive been here. Please hire someone older to work here because no one looks like they know or care what they are doing. Half of the employees were asking each other how to make certain things. They were standing around laughing and talking ane looking confused when there were multiple visibly annoyed people waiting for orders.

My roommate and I were once absolutely addicted to this tropical and we went at least 3 times a week. Now it’s significantly less frequent because the service and experience as a whole are horrible. We’ve tried to give them a chance but lately we’ve been disappointed. Today we got the same smoothie and they tasted completely different, mine was watery and flavorless. I asked if it could be remade and was apologetic (even though their inconsistency is the issue) and one of the grown ladies in the back proceeded to say to her coworker “tell her that she got a modification so that’s exactly what she ordered”. Keep in mind, I tried my friends who got the exact same thing and we both agreed mine was bad. We also get the exact same smoothie every time so it would’ve been nice if this woman didn’t make a snarky remark, let alone right in front of us. She looked to be management, wish I had gotten her name. Also there was zero tinfoil on my quesadilla and they used to come in boxes. Sad to see that all these reviews aren’t being taken into account. Whatever changed in the last month or so, needs to be fixed.

first and last time purchasing from here. agreed to buy food for my sister and she wanted to eat at tropical smoothie since the one where she lives is good. well we ordered then had to rush to get to a meeting since it took15 minutes to make a salad and a smoothie for the only customers in the store. when my sister finally got to eat she didn't have any chicken on her salad and there was no banana in the bag and was charged full price for the smoothie when the sign said you could add a smoothie for a cheaper price. lesson learned there will not be any repeat business from me.

This was the first time visiting this location in Wilmington however it was not a good experience I waited 40 Minutes or more to get my smoothies paying for my order was not a issue it was waiting for my smoothies when I had ask about my order the lady looked at me as of I didn't order then also letting me know they had pushed my order to the side. She did not offer to ask/help improve my experience in store. The other customer that was standing beside me was also concerned as to why I hadn't got my order yet because the other customers who had or after us were getting there orders before us after standing there as long as we had! I visit alot of tropical smoothie locations in NC this was not a great experience unlike the others I visited I was very unhappy with my service!

I had a horrible experience at tropical smoothie today. When I walked in no one took my order or let alone told me they would be with me. Then finally after 3 minutes, they took my order and the payment machine forced me to tip the horrible service. Then It took 15 minutes to get 2 smoothies. as the employees where bringing out smoothies they all had holes and stains on their shirts.Over all the staff uniforms wear gross , the service was bad and I waited 20 minutes to get 2 smoothies.

My friend and I would come here religiously, we have always loved this specific location. However, lately, it’s gone so far downhill that every time we’ve been within the past month the service has been horrible, the food is improperly made, and the smoothies take forever. It’s just been really inconsistent when a few months ago it was always great. I never see any happy customers when I go these days since the wait times are so long. I order online, but while I’m waiting and see people come in nobody helps them for at least 5 minutes after they’ve been standing at the register. The last few times I’ve gotten a quesadilla, it’s been thrown on top of itself and gotten stuck together when it used to be put in a box, not the end of the world but shows the inconsistency. I wouldn’t typically leave a review for a place but I’ve been going here for a long time and it’s gone so downhill that I feel like management or owner needs to pay more attention to the quality of service.

On May 1st I ordered a beach bum white chocolate smoothie+ another smoothie using the tropical smoothie app , when I went to pick it up, balancing my baby and second smoothie I noticed it was made with dark chocolate, when I spoke to management they refused to remake it even when I explained it was probably an app error but was in a rush and my child was fussy so dropped it and just took my order any way (order #952209032169025)Today, the same thing happened while using the app and manager Jeffrey smith said “it’s not expensive order another one” first, it was not made the way we ordered- if it’s an app issue on THEIR app it is their problem and they should fix it. Second yes it can be expensive to order a second smoothie after already spending money on one.Sad that they are not taking ownership for a malfunction on their apps part.

The customer service was awful and definitely need to somebody more mature than the manager dealing with customers. Joke of a business, joke of a franchise.After editing this: they seemed to have made the situation worse. It could've been an easy miscommunication but corporate wants to claim we were wrong after their poor customer service.
