Good was so good and fresh felt like I needed to hug the cooks and waitress!
The hostess greeted us with a big smile and made great menu recommendations! We had oysters on the half shell, mushroom gumbo with shrimp, and the scallops. All fabulous! The service was smooth and the atmosphere was adorable. The only thing that wasnât a 10/10 was the dessert (horchata panna cotta) but we were full anyway. I highly recommend!

Oysters were good. Broiled especially. Corn bread and chow-chow also. Service was good. Nothing to bring me back except the broiled oysters.
Lovely dining area with delightful cocktails and knock-your-socks-off cuisine. Expansive bar facing into the open-concept kitchen. Porch dining available for temperate weather. Excellent service. My only caveat is the lack of sound-absorption material in the dining space. There was a loud table of women all the way across the room from us and the din was deafening and very distracting. And a personal pet peeve--I dislike having to ask for salt and pepper like a special favor, though realize this came into vogue during covid. It was brought to me in small open dishes upon request, but seemed a waste of a lot of product for the small bit I used.
Great place! 2 got the scallops, 1 got the crispy red snapper and I had the smoky mushroom gumbo with shrimp. Everyone loved their dishes! Service was great! Let us take our time so the 4 of us could catch up. Very nice wine and cocktail list. Will definitely go back!
So good!!! We went for Sunday Brunch service. I had the bless your heart mimosa flight- they were all delicious! Hubby had a traditional mimosa and was envious of mine. I had the Smash burger- yummy! And hubby had the smoked trout Benedict and pretty much licked his plate. Love the interior and being able to see directly into the kitchen. They kept all the charm of the original house and just upped the vibe. The wallpaper in the bathroom is dreamy- love love it! Looking forward to returning for dinner on a cooler day to try out the gorgeous porch. And our server Candace was a rock star⦠5 stars all around!
Brunch was great. Beautiful restaurant with fast& attentive service.
Food and atmosphere were excellent. Way too loud in the dinning room. Recommend sitting outside on the veranda.
