Amazing food! Amazing people! Have an amazing time! Whether you’re here for just a board game or to have a meal with a friend this is the go-to place.

Fun place to meet people and have fun learning new games. Very comfortable place.

One of my favorite places in Wilmington, felt like home every time I went there, staff is extremely nice and helpful ??❤️ Much love

So sad they are temporarily closing. Covid-19 stinks.

wonderful food, great staff, and no television! Plenty of board games to choose from to enhance your relaxation.

Ahoy landlubber! Ye gettin' the scurvy eh? Well fill yer empty belly with the finest lunch ye' ever set eyes upon! Turkey n' Bacon sandwich t'was a feast worthy o' travellin' cross the seven seas! A fine established port I do say, arr! Ye ol' Boatswain Phillip havin the honor o' the old ways yes he does, a scholar that one! Cap'n Edward Teach be havin' an ale named after himself too! Iffen ye feel like wagerin' off some steam against ol' lady luck, thar be a library o' board games to choose from!

I was on a 5 day trip at new Hanover for the birth of my son, the hospital food was terrible leaving me and my lady starving. Called in an order on a whim and it was pretty darn good. Inexpensive too! Very friendly people- they have the personal touch that most places don’t have. Only thing I’m not sure of if they are a local business or chain but it seems local which I love to support!

This place is awesome! I’m In Wilmington on vacation, and we went to sideboard and had so much fun! The food was great, and the staff was amazing and so nice, friendly, and personable. The whole aspect of this place was so cool. I wish there was one back in FL. The game store next door Cape Fear Games was awesome too, they had like every game imaginable, the staff there was also great, helpful, and friendly. If you ever go to sideboard have Fia serve you she was great.

Great sandwiches! A nice place to get together with friends/family to spend an afternoon. Service was good and everyone was really nice.

After having been to a lot—if not all of—the spots around town that do a trivia night, I really have to say that Sideboard’s was the best I’ve ever been to. You can tell the owners are passionate about the content and not just an entertainment company hosting a night on a trendy topic. Not surprised at all that it filled up and people had to unfortunately be turned away, it deserves to be that popular! Definitely going back!
