Came on a Saturday night where amazing live music was playing while I enjoyed this DELICIOUS meal! 10/10 recommend! I’ve also ordered the beef on weck and that is incredible as well! The staff are very kind! And all the plants are so fun! They’re everywhere! ? I ordered a beer from a local brewery as well!
Such a unique menu! Had their LaLaLove lavender marinated chicken salad which was phenomenal. They also do soup flights that we didn’t try but looked beautiful. Good selection of local beer and wine and a super friendly staff. You need to check this place out!
Located in the Brooklyn Arts district this cute little restaurant offers a large selection of wonderful soups and sandwiches. Staff is very knowledgeable and offers great suggestions.A flight of soups is a good way to try a taste of everything. The sweet corn gazpacho was full of corn flavor with a little heat from the jalapeños. My favorite was the roasted poblano gazpacho that had depth of flavor and perfectly seasoned. We shared a Beef on Weck and being from western NY it certainly matched up. The beef was tender with delicious au jus. The fresh horseradish and housemade kimmelweck rolls rounded out a great choice.Open late on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner specials. Great addition to the B.A.D.
Went there for the first time today! They offer street parking and their restaurant has very eclectic art. My wife had the meatball sub (omg), my daughter had the kids Mac and Cheese with fries and I had the soup flight! Honestly such a good place and definitely going back!
Delicious chicken chili and side salad. Must try. So good we ate it before we took photos. Next time.
Soon as you walk in your taken aback by the amazing design and decor. The plants make it feel so fresh and homey. I couldn’t decide on what to get the menu has so many options. I ordered the Sweet and Savory sandwich with Street Corn Soup. I love soup and so glad there is now a place in Wilmington that has fresh homemade soups and gazpacho! The food was amazing and so flavorful. It does take a bit of time after you order to get your food so as long as your not in a rush this the perfect lunch spot!
Awesome food, awesome people! I am a soup fiend so absolutely love the soup flights and enjoy the variety. I recently tried the B.A.D. Hot Chicken and it is the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The Sweet and Savory is also a delicious blend of flavor. I love their use of locally sourced greens, sauces and other items. I also appreciate that the owners use their influence and resources to serve and support the community. They hire intentionally and serve their community in their spare time. Worth it for just the delicious food to pay a visit, keep going back because they are just great people and an awesome local business to support.
First time there. Nice selection of food and everything was prepared beautifully. Delicious. Very cute setting. Friendly owners and staff. Will definitely go back again and again!!!
This is my new favorite restaurant! The decor is so cute. The staff is so kind and helpful. I am in love with Mexican street corn soup and the sweet and savory sandwich. The candied bacon is amazing too. They have the cheesiest Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Pretty much everything here is great.
The Kitchen Sink is more than a restaurant. It’s a dining experience that is second to none. The atmosphere of the space is one of safety, unity, love, care, comfort and whimsy that can and is enjoyed by a myriad of people and personalities. The food takes you on a journey of what I imagine it would be like if elevated southern cuisine had a beautiful marriage to rustic Italian food culture. It dances upon the pallet with great depth of flavor that’s rich and hearty without leaving you feeling heavy, but rather, humbly content. The attention to detail and friendliness by the entire staff is welcoming and pleasant. I recommend anyone in the greater Wilmington area take the time to visit and enjoy the food, the family atmosphere and the fellowship among so many awesome people. You won’t be disappointed!
