Super friendly staff and delicious food.
This was the best meal we have had in Wilmington. We stopped in after seeing it on tiktok. The poutine was the most delicious thing it made me want to lick the plate. The duck burger and beet salad was heavenly. We also got the Wellington bites and the pimiento burger and nothing was bad. It’s hard to find more eclectic eats so I was happy to find this place!
amazing food and service!! small but worth the wait!
We have lived on the island for over 12 years and try to visit the local restaraunts a few times a year so we can give recommendations to visitors. My wife and I went to one of our favorites...UNTIL TODAY...Fork and Cork. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly person who attemted to guide us to a table in a sparsely populated dining room. I requested a table by the window and was told that the waitess at the table she brought us to needed the customers. I declined the table and we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and took our order for food and drink. She brought us our drinks quickly. We then waited for 30 minutes to get our food!!! If they were busy, I would kind of understand...but they weren't. The food was FABULOUS!!! I asked to see the manager upon leaving but their wasn't one on duty! The rude seating denial along with the wait for the food negates any qualities the food had. Sorry to the chef as they did a great job but the service lost us. Pretty sure the customer comes first...and we no longer felt that way. We will not return.
Cute but super small local eatery. Be prepared to wait. We got there 20 mins before open with a few people before us and still waited over an hour to sit. Plus be prepared for items to run out very quickly. I had a good Make it yourself grilled cheese and a good scottish egg. Overall ok eatery I would try them again to see if I can catch the items that were sold out.
Either over salted or not seasoned at all. Patty melts should not be the size of burgers. They could also atleast ask what temperature you want your burger at. The lady on the phone was very distracted which made it hard to place a Togo order. Crab was way too salty and the salad had hardly any dressing on it. Really expected alot when I would have just enjoyed fast food more. Just go to Hardee’s.
In my short and not so sweet honest opinion… When we first arrived there was hardly anyone there the waitress was prompt And kind and did her job efficiently. When our meals arrived they looked as if you were getting a meal from an old back woods ma and pop café The burgers were nicely arranged and the fries off to the side … now here’s the part that everyone wants to know I ordered a Ruben with onion rings as everyone knows Rubens are made from corn beef But not this Ruben this Ruben was made from brisket which was bland if I wanted a brisket sandwich I would’ve ordered one but My heart was set on a delicious Reuben sandwich. The onion rings or spicy and loaded with pepper. We ordered two appetizers one of which were fried pickles extremely salty not worth eating we also ordered the Brussel sprouts that I thought were a little overdone. No my daughter and mom and dad ordered a veggie burger which was very bland and mushy. As we were sitting there talking about our meal The table next to us called over the manager and she was complaining about how bland the food and a few other things that did not make her happy the manager just stood there and Acted as if he didn’t care about what she had to say I noticed many people did not finish their meals we decide to get up and leave and go finish our evening on the boardwalk.Well Ladies and gentlemen I guess this wasn’t short at all but I hope it helps you decide whether you want to eat at this Particular Fork and Cork. Sincerely one of many not to satisfied customer p.s pics are so called Reuben but actually (brisket) as you can see next picture is Mushy veggies sandwich The next picture is the onion rings. Note the fry’s and onion rings where soft and mushy ( NOT CRISP ) this was the fork and cork at the Carolina beach
First time and it was a beautiful spring day, so my group dined outside, but we loved the decor and vibe inside. The food was outstanding and service was fast and friendly...can't wait to return!
My fiancé and I visited for dinner this week. Service was terrible! It took over 10 mins to get a drink, and we were at the bar. His MR burger came out almost raw and my MR burger was burned. The fries were cold and some were frozen. Guess we hit a bad night, but we won't be back.
I am a regular here and absolutely love the vibe! Little hole in the wall place, servers are great and I keep coming back every week for their special Mac N Cheese, they're super creative and always just so delightful. Fork and Cork is a must
