This place is just exceptional!Great food for a reasonable price. I tried a Japanese beer called Kirin which from first sip became my favorite beer.Highly recommend this place. I will bring my family here every time.
Got there at noon and did not get our food until 50 minutes later. We had to go find a server to get service. We ordered a bento box and 2 big tuna rolls. The rolls were unimpressive as was the California roll in the bento box. The prices were reasonable and the decor of the restaurant was pretty.
1st time visit. Arrived on a Tuesday at4 30pm. We were the only ones here. So it felt very quiet. Ordered 4 sushi rolls, presentation and quality was worthy of 5 stars. Very impressed. Gave it 4 because we had to seat ourselves when we walked in, even though there were multiple employees standing there and 10 others working we were not greeted kindly and nobody checked on us. However at 5 30 when we are ready to leave, place is very busy now and lively and staff is very engaged in their customers now.
The Bento Box is always a delicious adventure into an incredible culinary world. Chef Lee could not have been more gracious to us for our anniversary dinner. Everything we ordered was “off the charts” delicious. The calamari appetizer is the best in town. The sushi was fresh and outstanding. Our server, Asia, is a real credit to this restaurant. She was spot on with excellent service, without being overbearing. I highly recommend The Bento Box for a special dinner that will impress.
First time in Wilmington and just random picked a Japanese restaurant for lunch. It turned out pretty good, I'd say the bento box was the best out of all. Calamari was nice too but It's too small :D and spicy tuna was my least favorite.Our server was nice, they're pretty busy by the time we got in, but get all the food quick enough.
Horrible customer service. Several times have called to place to go orders. Every hostess is either rude or has no clue what they are talking about. Half the time no one answers the phone. Now for to go orders they state available pick up times. Once called around 6pm for 4 sushi rolls and an app and they stated next pick up time was 8:15pm...said they were slammed. Drove there early, restaurant was dead. Ordered for lunch for office staff. Just Bento Boxes. Could not get through on the phone, no one answered. Drove there and said next pick up time was an hour later. Restaurant not busy, just opened. Food is good. Over priced though, customer service awful. One pleasant bartender. Go to Genki, they are better and customer service is awesome!
We occasionally visit Wilmington and always dine here. Chef Lee makes amazing sushi dishes. Presented in an attractive and appealing way, they are just as delicious to eat. Delicious and colorful. Love the Port City and Miami Vice rolls. Vietnamese duck spring rolls excellent. Everything is great! You can eat at the bar or a table. Best to book, it gets busy. See you next visit Chef Lee! :0)
Great atmosphere, attentive waitress. Miso Soup was great, all food was fresh and mouth watering. Tuna sushi was buttery and melt in your mouth.
The lunch bento boxes are a perfect go-to option if you're looking for a great lunch on a busy day. The sushi is always tastes super fresh and for ~$14 you just can't find a better weekday option. Soup, salad, dumplings and a sushi roll plus your entree - all included, all delicious. One of my favorite spots for a refreshing mid-workday meal.
I’m a Wilmington local and somehow I’ve never been here.Super good menu and patient service. I’m not a big sushi eater so I got chicken pad Thai and it was great.The group I was with had sushi and they were pleased too!
