I had the blackened shrimp wrap. Yummy! Our friends split a sandwich. My husband had another(sorry can’t remember) and brought home half too. So our dinner was covered! I really can’t say enough good things about this place! Service is always good, food even better. If you go, you will not be disappointed!

Sweet n Savory Cafe was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint.The atmosphere as great very modern but also a bit eclectic.The service was well above average in my opinion.The food was amazing!The menu was several pages long with plenty to choose from and there were several unique items listed I had to google because i honestly hadn't been heard of them.On top of this they are also part bakery it seems.
Checked off another restaurant on my Wilmington list. Great unique place with super friendly staff and 70's music everyone is jiving to.Specials every night including drinks. How can you go wrong with $2.99 draft beers.The food is good and a wide variety. Started with the spicy fried calamari that had fried jalapeños as well.My Waterzooi was a rich creamy sauce full of seafood with rice and over easy egg.The islander had wonderfully seasoned shrimp over creamy Parmesan rice. Excellent flavor and served with bright citrusy broccoli.This is a place worth going back and trying everything. Sit near the bar and groove with the staff
Heard another of good reviews about this restaurant and had to try it! The fried pickles were good, the shrimp and grits is the best thing. The corned beef dish is not that great, not much flavor. The service felt rushed, could've been better. I was disappointed in my experience here.
The atmosphere it’s self was awesome!! Place looked clean but had a score of 90.0 which was a bit shocking. Waiter was nice but also felt he was a bit short in his response to questions. My food was good but the grits were not done or very warm. French toast was delicious! I will definitely give this place another shot. (My mom’s potato poutine was so good!)
Excellent choice for breakfast for sure. First time visiting and OMG! I ordered The Who dat breakfast bowl and everything was perfect! I was surprised that the grits came with the bowl because I ordered the potatoes poutine as a side but was pleasantly surprised with the grits. Simply amazing!
My friend and I tried the Fried Brie, Spicy Calamari, and Volcano Burger. Everything was fantastic and each bite was just as enjoyable as the last. Didn’t think we’d be able to eat our burger after our appetizers and bread with oil and herbs but we couldn’t stop ourselves. Very satisfying and tasty!
Sweet n Savory messed up our take-out order and sent about 1/2 the items ordered. I eventually got a price adjustment through DoorDash after a lot of back & forth. I would recommend NOT using Sweet n Savory for take-out orders. Apparently they don't use the on-line services very well. The delivery guy responded to my text saying only that he delivered everything they handed to him (not double-checking the order).
I visited this restaurant while intown for a week. I reviewed the online menu prior to my arrival. The actual menu is nothing like what is posted online. To be honest, if the actual menu would have been posted, I would not have came. The actual menu is pretty basic . The service is TERRIBLE. The restaurant was more than half empty; yet, I was somehow seated at a dirty table by a young lady. I requested to a second young lady to have my table wiped down.....that NEVER happened. Staff has a very relaxed dress code. So much so that it's hard to figure out who works there. All staff members are dressed in regular clothes...no badges, no branded t-shirts...nothing to alert you, a patron, that they work there. My food was tasty; however, this restaurant was far too relaxed for me. I'm not comfortable paying to eat on a dirty table. I will not be returning.
If you want your burger rare than get the burger. Ordered a well burger as I am not a fan of red in a burger, pink or medium is ok too. The burger was Red Rare. Worst meal and service didn’t even ask why. Paid bill and won’t be back. Used the bathroom and it was truly nasty.
