I've never been in to Sweet D's but I've ordered croissants from them a few times. I love that their croissants aren't overly sweet, they don't taste over-processed. They're not flaky but I'm a fan both flaky and non.This time I got the apple-filled, powdered sugar, and original glazed and they did not disappoint in my household.

Very interesting that this place received best bakery last year. There must not be any other bakeries in town. Tried the croissants chewy and flavorless, not flaky at all. Tried the original cake yellow with chocolate frosting. Was hoping at least the frosting would be good. NOT. Great website, place looks fine inside. I'd recommend speeding some money on a good pastry chef. Very dissapointing.
Each and every time we visit… you guys are absolutely amazing. I watched every single customer greeted with a smile and conversation. Customers were greeted by name which shows you take the time to get to know them. The place is always spotless and well maintained. The treats speak for themselves… ALWAYS PERFECT! Found this shop while my wife was at the hospital. The owner was very friendly, offered to make a fresh pot of coffee when I ordered. The coffee(black)was really good. The filled croissants were excellent, enjoyed my visit. If I return from Jacksonville, will definitely stop in again!

I've been coming to Sweet D's for a while now. Some people say the prices are high but you get what you pay for. I've never been disappointed, everyone who works there are lovely people and everything I have ate from here was melt in your mouth delicious.
