Coming back from our Kure beach vacation we decided to stop by this place, and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm a picky eater but everything we ordered was delicious the wings mild & hot, the pizza, pepperoni and Supreme and the peanut butter and chocolate, and vanilla and chocolate cookie ice cream sandwiches. The waitresses were very, very nice. We sat outside because we had kids with us and played games while we waited. The waitress joined in while bringing our beverages and plates out. It was all around a great experience and I will definitely be going there often.
Had Slice of life pizzeria for the first time yesterday with my family and it was amazing! The pizza was so good! And the staff was so nice. We had a pretty large group and from the time we walked in until we left they were all so friendly and attentive! It was very refreshing to go to a restaurant where everyone was so nice, upbeat and seemed to really enjoy being there.
Over done pizza today , very disappointed !Pine Valley Location
The good: A cool spot to hang out with friends, watch games/sports on their many TVs and friendly service/staff. They have pretty good lunch specials (price-wise). It's a clean place too.The bad: Pizza crust tastes, looks and feels like burnt cardboard. It's dry as a bone, except for the grease. Hardly any cheese (or it's just cooked to oblivion and the cheese is hard) and, evem though you have to pay for toppings, I got like 2 pieces of pepperoni on a slice which I had to pay extra for (the pepperoni that is). Overall, the pizza isn't that great. If you order by the slice, be prepared to only receive like a sliver of pizza. Very small/thin slices. One slice isn't filling at all due to the fact it's so small. But honestly, you probably won't want another slice anyway because the pizza is not good at all.If you're a Dave Portnoy fan who enjoys his pizza reviews, I'd say he'd give the pizza a 4.3 on his rating scale of 1-10.I haven't tried any other menu items, so they may be great (or not so great), who knows? But of the two times I've been here and eaten pizza, I've never been impressed with it.I'd never choose to go here ever, but I'd not object to going if this is where my friends or family want to go to eat. I'd go with them (for obligatory reasons only, not because I actually want to eat here). So, I don't recommend choosing this place for pizza only, especially when taking out. But, if you're looking for a cool little spot to hang out with others, drink something from the bar, or to watch a game, then this may be a good spot to go. Perhaps there's something great on their menu I haven't tried, but the pizza is a miss for me (and my family thought the same the last time we went....none of us liked the burnt pizza).
Great pizza you can even get a kud cut slice so it cools down faster. I love the rewards system also. Excellent Ceasars salad
Second best pizza I've ever had. And I've been all over the lower 48. Best in North Carolina that's for sure. I've been there many times and it is my favorite place in town. Great ? ? selection ?
Ordered pizza and wings Togo for the first time. The girl (which I forget her name I’m sorry) was super nice and helpful. She went and found out what wings were gluten free for my wife and gave us great recommendations. The pizza and wings were delicious! When I went to go pick up my order, the girls behind the bar were friendly and got my food quickly for me. They even let me know another flavor of wings that are gluten free for next time. I will be definitely coming back!
We first ordered one pizza to go, called back in 17 seconds to say we were going to come in to dine but will eat what we ordered as we live 3 minutes away. Upon sitting down, waitress came over, we said we were ones who had just ordered and called back to say we were going to come dine with them. She said “Just so you know, we don’t allow dine in if ordered a ‘to go’ pizza” my son said said, in a happy manner, well we will order beer with the pizza and thanks for letting us eat the pizza here…..no smile, just said “ we have been busy all day”……code: I don’t care if you order a beer, that’s the rule. She was dismissive, rude, never smiled or checked on us after plopping down the plates/pizza and beers. In these hard times I always tip 30% or more, based on service……she got $2 on an almost $40 tab. So, hopefully future diners can avoid the ‘lady’ server with long blonde hair and half sleeve tattoo on left arm and a mouth piercing. We will never return, tho my son said this place used to have the most cheerful and welcoming bartender. . Pizza was just ok
This place is amazing! It wasn't crowded at all, it is very fairly priced, and our waitress was lovely, I would go back any time and recommend this place to anybody.
This was our 2nd time eating at Slice of Life Pizzeria & we were so happy we came! Our chicken wings were hot and tasty & our steak & cheese quesadilla was absolutely delicious! Oh & our waitress was fast and friendly! We will be back soon!! ❤?
