The restaurant was very clean. Food was good. The waitress was friendly and very efficient! 1st time in Wilmington and that restaurant was amazing ❤️

No. The oysters were so small and tasteless (ordered a dozen of the ‘large’ ones) that the presentation on the platter was actually laughable. Beer was cold, that was good. Service was fine. Actually walked down the street to Seabird where we got great oysters, served properly, for about the same price. Not sure what happened between our visit and the previous review but beware.
Shrimp Tacos, Steamed & Raw Oysters, Shrimp & Grits. The shucker was not lazy, releasing the oyster adductor muscle from the top flat shell and the bottom rounded shell which holds all the juices. Great service from the front and back of the house. Outside seating on back deck is awesome. Clean restrooms. Would have been a 5-star if they served Nabisco Premium crackers instead of Lance. Bad crackers ruin a good oyster
Went in for raw oysters for my husbands birthday. Had three choices, and asked for the biggest ones. We went to Savannah last year and did the same thing. They bring them out and they were the smallest oysters I have ever seen. We went ahead and ate them, but decided we wouldn’t get anything else. They came up after we finished and asked what we thought. We said they were tiny. She said that’s what you get this time of year. I disagree. I’ve gotten great oysters this time of year. Can’t imagine that Savannah gets superior oysters from the New England coast that these guys can’t get. Then she brings the bill. $36 for oysters the size of a nickel.
Great staff, great location and very good food. Had a relaxing lunch with a group of 6 friends. Great full bar with some house specialty. Everyone had a good time and loved the food. We wish the weather was a little better and we could have sat on the deck facing the river. Next trip.
Had the Virginia clams and old bay shrimp. Fresh and delicious. And gone!Corn was ehhh. Frozen then steamed. It’s April so I understand but fresh is out there. Invest a little. Good hush puppies and lots of butter. Ask about specials. I. E. 12 clams $5.40. Shaaaaa
Great atmosphere great staff. Clara was so attentive and on point. Never had to wait for anything. The shrimp, the oyster, the crab legs all were most excellent. The shrimp burger not so much. The texture the flavor was off. We will eat there again. Try the pain killer, awesome drink.
Great place for local seafood. Staff is super helpful.
