Dinner at Seabirds was really good, maybe not as great as we had anticipated after reading all the excellent reviews. The service was good and the ambiance was lively. There were people in the restaurant dressed in t-shirts and had visors on, like they had just gotten off of a long boat ride, which we did not anticipate as we felt like this would be a more upscale dining experience. The ribs were spectacular and the oysters were as well. Of the four entrees ordered for our group, two were really good and two were okay. We will definitely try again and make sure we order the ribs and the Oysters, but maybe pass on the Squid Ink Pasta and Soft Shell Crab.
Recently experienced Seabird and it wasâ¦â¦â¦.okay. The âhypeâ and number of recommendations to dine here made this restaurant an easy choice. Our waitress, Mary, was kind and very attentive. The food was bland and could use stronger flavor profiles. The peel n eat shrimp were tasteless. So, check it out but lower your expectations - if you any high ones.
Very nicely compiled dishes with a bit of inspiration. Local seafood and some wonderful cocktails.
Top notch!
If you're looking for oysters and an intriguing seafood menu, Seabird is the place for you!
Absolutely delicious! A gastronomic delight! Great staff! Oysters Hollandaise! Superb! Yellowfin Tuna& tomatoes! Best tuna & tomatoes ever! Habanero sorghum pork ribs, perfect sauce! Yum, yum!
Awesome food and service. Everything that we ordered was wonderful! Don't miss the oyster pie/smoked catfish/rice pudding & espresso martinis!!! Highly recommend this awesome spot!
This was our fifth time at Seabird, and they never disappoint. The wedge salad was delectable with the addition of shrimp and perfectly fried okra. The tuna and tomato small plate was incredibly fresh, and the tomatoes were the best weâve had this season. Delicious. Our entrees were all done to perfection, but the cioppino was the highlight of the night. For the other entrees, ribs were fall off the bone yummy, the ink squid pasta had just the right amount umami, and my braised squid was tender and delicious. For dessert, we had the olive cake (super moist), the homemade fig ice cream & our friends thoroughly enjoyed the homemade brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream & caramelized bananas. Whether youâre local or visiting, be sure check out Seabird!
Everything was fantastic!!!
We have been here several times and unfortunately this was not the 5star experience we have had in the past. The server although very quiet was a good guy and very informative. The broth of the eastern cioppino was extremely salty. The oyster Rockefeller did not taste the same as the past. I unfortunately got the seafood tower. Very pricey for what you get. The ribs were good. My bill was over $300 and honestly not worth it. Very disappointing as we were celebrating my wifeâs birthday.
