Ok.... so I took my picture a little late... I got the lumberjack with Over medium eggs, pattie sausage, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy! It was delicious, just as everyone else posted good Ole southern cooking. There were 5 of us, we came in for a late breakfast after we checked out of our hotel. Thankfully for us they serve breakfast until 2.. If you are a local and don't visit here. Shame on you.... if you passing by or heading out check out Sawmill!

this is definitely the place I'll be stopping at each time I'm heading out of Wilmington. the staff were very kind and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! pictured is the lumberjack meal!

We were recommended this restaurant and we decided to check it out . We had a party of 12 , our waitress was Samantha and she did a great job serving us and was very patient with a hectic 12 . The food came out in a timely manner and was very good . We had a great experience and would definitely come back .

It's was good. The prices don't match from the menu online. I got a lumberjack meal which is 10.99 online but was charges 16.99. It was still delicious and the server was awesome

Great home cooking. They buttered your toast, so the butter is nicely melted when the toast arrives. Loved the catfish, okra/tomatoes and Cole slaw. The potatoes are delicious. Fresh fish and meatloaf on Tuesday.

We did have a very friendly server. The breakfast was just ok. Took a long time to get the food and nothing was really great.

We seated ourselves. The waitress came quickly. The restaurant was clean. The food was fresh and quick to arrive. But the peanut butter chip waffle didn't have any peanut butter chips. The syrup was not hot. And I was charged almost $4 for a small side of gravy for my one biscuit. The biscuit was perfect though. Overall my experience was just okay.

Pretty good food. Some items are hit and miss, but others are very good. They have the best banana pudding, btw, and some great southern fried pork chops. Great side dishes to choose from and there are many sides available. I personally don't recommend the turkey and dressing or chicken tenders though. There's just something a bit suspect about their poultry items though and always tastes as if the meat is of poor quality or outdated and kind of rancid tasting. The shrimp is pretty good but I don't recommend coming here for just the seafood alone when there are more choices for great seafood basically everywhere else in Wilmington. My Mom and The Golden Girls (her friends) always come here for the Early Bird specials (available weekdays) and the prices are great during that time. Also, the regular menu prices are reasonable as well. It's a good place to eat, especially with a family, with a good selection of meals on the menu that won't make you pass out once you receive the bill. Overall, it's a decent place to eat and lots of locals dine here, so it's not a tourist trap kind of restaurant which is located near Carolina Beach.

Best country fried steak in town. Absolutely amazing. Their homemade waffles are pretty spectacular as well. SUPER CHEAP, but doesn't taste like it at all. Service is good. Better than Jimbo's by a long shot. Favorite breakfast place in town.

I can usually count on good food and excellent service but that was missing today. The food was unusually slow in coming. Overall the services was slow to nonexistent.I had to ask for the rest of my order and for a travel container. In addition, our server delivered something that wasn't ordered.
