LOVED it! Excellent drinks, great service and super cute ambiance. Highly recommend!

Sauce’d is our new favorite Wilmington bar. Great music, great views, and unbelievably good drinks and fries! We loved everything, especially the white truffle ketchup and the Rhubarb’s Drag Race cocktail for Pride month. The bartender, Tif, got creative with the cocktails and they were so delicious. Jevaughn was working the door and was so friendly. Definitely coming back!

This place is just OK. The drinks were sub par. Too much sweet and sour mix and sugary. They are pretty but that’s about it. Some small touches would make the ambience a little better to not have it feel to cheap. Changing the lights above the seated bar area to a more warm tone would really soften the mood. Adding string lights to the outside seating would improve the coziness and value as well. Phenomenal view.

We loved Sauce'd!! Such a cute bar, but it's the staff that makes this place even better!! Love the decor, delicious drinks, and they have food!!! #Fries Definitely will go back!!

Downtown is 99% dive bars and that gets old fast. This type of vibe is what DT Wilmington has always been missing! Nice lounge type area and outdoor seating right in the water, really nice staff and just a overall great setting. This is a nice change for the area.

Edit: After the response from the owner, I feel like they genuinely care about their customers. The reply was thoughtful and it's obvious my concerns were heard. I'm changing the rating based on the fact that the owner put in real effort to acknowledge the issues. We'll definitely give it another try. Thanks for taking the time to respond in such an awesome way.We arrived around 5:15pm and sat at the bar which only had a couple of people there, the tables were mostly empty. After about ten minutes the bar tender took our order and brought us a Black Rose and Good Vibes Only (ironic), which were both yummy. Their presentation was also interesting/ fun/unique; the Black Rose came with a smoke filled bubble, and the Good Vibes had an ice Buddha. From there the experience deteriorated. We never got offered another drink, despite our empty glasses sitting on the edge of the bar, granted they were starting to get a little busier and the bar tenders were scrambling. After awhile without drinks we decided to order fries. We were given a paper order form which we filled out within seconds, considering we had plenty of time to sit there and think about what we wanted to order. The bar tender never came back to take our order form, even though we held it visibly and kept trying to get his attention.A couple came up beside us and ordered fries and he immediately picked up their order and began entering it, when I said, "excuse me, we've been waiting for you take our order long before they arrived. "He replied, "just a moment," and continued placing their order. I asked him to just cash us out. After no drinks, no food, and poor service, we were done. We walked over to Seabird for cocktails and appetizers instead. We may try again in the future and change the review accordingly, but it's not likely. We had really looked forward to trying more of what they had to offer.Neat concept, poor execution. They need more bar tenders on Friday evenings.Despite the poor service the staff was friendly.

Such a cute place and the cocktails were so good and something truly wonderful. Fries and the sauces were AMAZING. all of the bartenders last night were so sweet and so fun to talk to! Definitely recommend.

I love this bar so much! It’s such a refreshing vibe downtown. Drinks are so amazing, they are craft cocktails so they take a tiny bit longer than usual to make but they are so worth the wait! The bartenders are externally knowledge and super helpful. The fries are air fried and they taste so much better than normal. Definitely worth a try!

LOVED it! Best new spot in town - hands down!

Drinks were perfect, however the wait to order was outrageous. 20 minutes (not exaggerating) to wait to order a cocktail, so be prepared. Bartenders seemed overwhelmed and told everyone to “calm down”, weren’t aware of patrons waiting before they took others orders, etc. Ordered two orders of fries, only received one. Seemed to be very unorganized though they’ve been open long enough to work out the kinks. Knowing the history of this location, I feel they should be on point - maybe servers to the outside tables to make sure drinks are delivered promptly? Regardless, something needs to change. We probably won’t be back until it does. Great spot though! Good luck.
