Awesome food. Awesome service. Best NY Bagel shop in Wilmington.

Great employees, great owner, it was busy when I came in but the lady up front took my order without no issues. And before they put mayo on my sandwich they asked me which is perfect because I despise mayonnaise. It was delicious hot. The only downfall about this place is they need bigger parking lot.

We stopped here for breakfast after my son's very early doctor's appointment. My son said the Mickey pancakes were delicious and he loved his bacon. I ordered the Dr. "Somebody" bagel sandwich. It has jalapeño cream cheese which was very tasty. I also purchased some cannoli to take home. One of the large chocolate coated and 4 small traditional cannolis. Tastes just like the ones we used to get in NYC.

Had a party with about 65 people and S&L provided the food (sandwiches, pasta salad, potato salad, tossed salad). Our guests raved about the food. Working with Tami and her staff was also great. We learned of S&L from a previous party that was equally excellent and our choice to use them was a huge success. Highly recommended!!!

Had a western Omelet with home fries and a side of grits. It was amazing. All the ingredients in the omelet where fresh, the home fries where where fresh, and the grits where real (none of that instant stuff). Definitely worth a return trip to try more of their menu items ? ?

10/10. This was my first time eating here. S&L New York Style Deli was recommended to me by my mom. I got the Uptown and my niece got the Empire State. We also got 2 chocolate dipped cannolis to go. I would highly recommend this deli to anyone either pass through wilmington or those that live in Wilmington. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

This is a New York style deli, but does not quite get there. The Turkey sandwich I had was dry and did not have a lot of meat on it. I may go back and try their bagels and whitefish salad to give it another chance.. Other that that this is nothing to go out of your way for.

If this deli was in NY, it would be, meh. I was told the hero rolls come from the Bronx. I say find a new bakery. Undercooked bread in my book and undersized. Definitely not a hero you'd find at a good deli in NY. To small and pretty empty inside. For $10 a sandwich? I dunno. If rather pay $12 for more ingredients.Other than that, I can't really complain about the taste. This place has been established and has plenty of fans anyway, so who the hell am I? Just another jerk with an opinion. I wanted to go 2 stars, but that wouldn't be fair because others do enjoy it. I personally don't think it lived up to the hype. Maybe that's what it was. I thought this place was gonna be the best I ever had, the way people explained it to me. But.... Eh.

Wonderful chewy, flavorful bagels in multiple options with multiple cream cheese varieties. Tasty cookies, bought to go. Grabbed bagels to take on boat tour downtown.

As always, Perfect! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful with any questions regarding the menu. This was our 3rd time enjoying the food and atmosphere. It's informal and very comfortable. I'll be back. (wish I could get a mimosa).
