My first visit to Roko was this past Wednesday evening with friends and I cannot wait to return. Delish Italian appetizers and entrees. Dessert was fabulous. Tanner our server was vibrant and professional.

Fantastic food and service!

Had an amazing time, sat alone at the bar but if you would like to eat here I suggest making a reservation. The food was phenomenal the people are better 10/10

Very disappointing dinner for four tonight. Roko used to be a favorite of ours. Not tonight. We waited one hour and ten minutes for our main course. Many apologies for the kitchen delays but the apologies were perfunctory at best and it was an issue at multiple tables. Two of us had the scallop risotto which was so salty it was sent back as inedible. New dinners came and although better, still too much salt. The other two dinners were ok but not of the usual Roko quality. Their prices are high but the quality used to be wonderful. We will not be returning.

First and foremost- I have never felt compelled to write a negative review on a restaurant before. As someone who has worked as a waiter, busboy, and dishwasher I understand the hassle of working in a restaurant. However, after experiencing tonight's service it had to be noted. After visiting this restaurant numerous times, we took my mother out to dinner for her birthday. All four meals were delivered. The most expensive was the Filet Mignon (The most expensive on the menu). It was ordered as "rare". The steak was thoroughly overcooked to where it was more than gray all the way through. I assumed a new cook was in the kitchen; and without asking for it-kindly accepted a new one to be cooked. The cooks agreed it was well over medium-well. We were told it would be 5 minutes. As a chef myself, I realize a flash-cooked steak should take no less time. Everyone was already done with their meal; but I had no issue, as I understand the dynamics in a kitchen. 25 minutes later the steak was brought out in a to-go container. I would never expect something to be comped at a restaurant (which it was not), but it was appalling to say nonetheless. It was disappointing to say the least that a "high end" restaurant delivered well under a fair expectation. Please avoid at all cost.

Roku is by far the best Italian restaurant I've been to, ever. We're from San Francisco and have been to many good Italian restaurants in the city. What a pleasant experience great service, owner was very nice and staff wonderful. I had the chicken marsala which was excellent, melt in your mouth delicious, my son's pasta Alfredo with a great chared chicken was terrific and the chicken arugula salad with an incredible lemony dressing was wonderful. If you're wondering where to go for a special dinner, this is definitely it! Thanks to all an especially the masterful chef.

Told the management upon entering that we were celebrating two birthdays in our party. Nothing, not even a cupcake! We told our waitress and she brought one saucer with four small pieces of fruit and a dab of icing with a candle. I was told by management that they provide candles if someone brings their own cake. Never had a restaurant experience like this in my life. (The food was not hot and mediocre.)

Called and attempted to make reservations for the following day for a birthday. Showed up for our reservation and they lost our reservation. Big surprise considering the young lady whom attempted to take our reservation the day before was talking to other people while on the phone and repeated us incorrectly several times for the number of people, name and time. I would recommend that Roko educate their staff on detail, writing and phone etiquette. We drove an hour and a half for this and now are searching for a nice restaurant so we don’t miss our plans later this evening. Do not recommend Roko!

The owner was gracious and helpful. The staff, including Tanner, was professional and we had the feeling of being in New York or Chicago at a top-level restaurant. Great ambiance, wonderful vibe, appetizers were out-of-this-world, entrées were over the top, and desserts were wonderful. It was my birthday and first time to Roko. It was so good (we WILL be back) that we bought a gift card to give to our neighbor who recently helped out. Can't wait to share it with them! GO ROKO!
