Great atmosphere and even better beer. Cool to have different food trucks on rotation. Bars don't usually allow kids so that was not a big deal for my family.
We've spent the last 8 months sailing along the east coast, stopping at breweries as often as we can. Outer Dunes Brewing is one of the best we've ever experienced! The outdoor space is spectacular, so peaceful and beautiful! The beer selection is fantastic and the service is outstanding. We'll be back anytime we're in the area, for sure!Seems like a lot of people are upset by the 21+ rules but we loved it, the last thing I want when I'm at a brewery is a bunch of loud kids running around.
One of the best breweries we've experienced! Obsessed with the outdoor space and the incredible atmosphere, service and beers! The owners are such awesome people! Two of the kindest people you'll meet, building something truly great for the area. Absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back!
No food but food trucks on the weekends. I like this place. Small Indoor space with AC. Outside space with picnic tables, corn hole and music in the summer. Also a big inside/outside bar. Tree coverage outside with lots of shade. A good vibe overall
A really nice space with great music and drinks.
Outer Dunes Brewing Company was the perfect special events site for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and after party. Ellie was great to work with, and her suggestions were so helpful. She and the staff did a beautiful job decorating. The entire staff was friendly and helpful before and during the event. It was a magical evening that we won't forget. Thank you to everyone at Outer Dunes Brewing Company for making it such a very special night!
I understand as a business there are decisions that are made that are not always going to be received by all in a positive light, but the way the news is delivered and presented once changes have been made is very important. I personally have no issue with an establishment who’s primary business is serving alcohol makes the choice to have a 21 and over policy, but when there is a huge following in the neighborhood that have families that typically include children this information would need to be relayed in a more appropriate manner. Like I don’t know, perhaps some sort of sign at the entrance, and not wait until someone has made the effort to settle in and then deliver the news they have to leave because their accompanied by an infant! Outer Dunes Brewing Company I ask that you take note of the way you interact and treat particular people/groups specially families. I may be wrong but from my past experiences at your brewery it did appear to be a welcoming place for new parents to get a chance to meet up with their friends who they may not have seen for a while within the neighborhood to have a change of scenery and catch up. I can’t speak for everyone else but I know my 6 month old is not going to get to rowdy after 0 rounds of beer at 4 in the afternoon. Will dad get rowdy after a couple of rounds, possibly? Might be to late but perhaps some sort of compromise can be made and the 21+ policy can kick in after a certain hr. I would agree that a child shouldn’t be present after 8 or 9pm, heck if you really want to be a buzz kill then 6pm. Just seems like a very rash and harsh stance that could end up being self sabotaging in your case. I get it, not everyone enjoys kids but not everyone should be judged or excommunicated just because they have them and want to enjoy the afternoon at the local brewery with them. I’m sorry for any previous bad blood you have had with folks who have children but this is a very bad look. I wish your business the best and I hope to see more then just one offering that you actually brew in the future. I had high hopes for you guys!
Such a great atmosphere and great beer. Bartenders are always awesome!
My husband and I recently went to Outer Dunes and had a great time! Their outdoor area is beautiful with plenty of seating and luscious plant life. We stopped in on a Thursday night when they were having trivia and a food truck. The staff was kind, attentive, and helpful since it was our first time there. Did you know they brew a new beer every week?! Such a unique feature and my husband loved the IPA. They also stock up on local beers so there is plenty to choose from. I would recommend it for a casual date night or bring the whole friend group. We brought our dog and she was loved by all!
Word is trickling out, but this is the cleanest/best brewed beer in the region. Can’t wait to get the production up so it doesn’t sell out so fast!Great location and vibe, friendly staff. The (extremely entitled) folks whining that it is 21+ are probably the same whose kids were creating a chaotic environment for many who were seeking a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of establishments that are all ages nearby - having one that is 21+ with great beers is a welcome diversion.
