The outdoor space is great. Indoors is cute albeit a bit diverse, which is all good. Our waitress was very attentive. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beer on tap. However, the food was awful. Fried pickles, obviously from frozen. His hamburger with fried egg had zero seasoning and was cooked very well despite asking for medium and the egg was hard rather than runny. My cajun pasta was super weird. It had an odd taste, like one mushroom and they put broccoli in it which doesn't work. I'd go back, but only for drinks.
When we go to Wilmington for shopping or appointments, we are always looking for a new restaurant to have lunch. We 'stumbled' upon the Ogden Tap Room and glad we did. We sat down and our server was right there to take our drink order. She was very nice, attentive and took are of the floor all by herself, ensuring everyone was well served. My wife ordered the Grilled Cheese and homemade chips and she love it. I had the New Orleans French Dip with fries; the bread was fresh, au jus very good (not overly salty like most are), however, the meat was tough...very difficult to chew. All in all, we had a good lunch at a reaonable price. Will try it again.
Went here today for lunch with my mum. It was our first time in Wilmington. Very nice little place! Food was delicious and very hot/fresh. Ashleigh, our server, was super sweet and lovely. Would definitely go here again.
First time here, and I love this place! Great food and service. Excellent venue for a restaurant and bar.Dan and Jewel was awesome. Great everything, highly recommended.
We wanted to sit outside and there was a picnic table and a high top open. We were told we could sit there but we would get no service for drinks and had to go to bar ourselves. We sat at picnic table and lo and behold a gentleman sat at high top and server waited on him for drinks. Then another server came to us at picnic table and told us we had to move to let a party of 5 to sit there for dinner. This was one of the young ladies that told us they did not serve there but we could sit there any way. Drank my one drink and left. Will not give my money to that establishment again.
LOVED their fried seafood. The Fish & Chips and the Shrimp Po' Boy were just delicious because some cook in the back really knows how to use a fryer! The Pimento Cheese appetizer wasn't what I thought it would be when I ordered, but it was still good.
Great food. Great service. There wasn't much going on, but then again we were there on a Monday in the beginning of March. Great place to take the kids and dogs. Looking forward to some wiffle ball.
The host and server were extremely friendly, the atmosphere and location hold up too. Their bar is one of the best in the area on any night, not to mention their outdoor area which shines all on its own. Their menu has some fun options, a few that don't really hold up, but nothing on its worse than it's worth! Overall, 81199 out of 10
A neighborhood favorite with a good menu, a great beer selection and a huge outdoor space for the kids or the dogs to run around. Uncomplicated but reliable, its one of our regular stops after moving nearby last summer. Locals know you can get in the back way, through the neighborhood streets without having to get out on 17. Drive slow and watch for bikers.
OTR is one of my favorite spots in town! My first experience there was a few years back when we moved down and went to check out their Oktoberfesr celebration...loved every minute! Each time I've been back it's been a great atmosphere for either a solo visit or with friends/family for catching a ballgame, trying one (or a few) of the great selection of beers they keep on rotation, or sitting down for a meal. The food is great, the staff are always as friendly and professional as possible, and I love that this place is a home spot for us!
