Highly Recommend It/ RecomendadoWhen visiting Wilmington this weekend, we wanted something authentically Mexican! Traditional flavor! La Tapatía came up! The name is very traditional so we have it a shot! I am Mexican! Eat tacos, tortas, zopes, etc. They have Aguachile (similar to Shimp Ceviche but spicier and less vegetables). Aguachile, traditionally from Nayarit (like me), was DELICIOUS! I was not disappointed at all! All the food was great! Highly Recommend it to anyone with the traditional taste of great Mexican Restaurants! (Picture of the aguachile is only leftover :) )
Had the best lunch there today. Just right portions, the enchiladas were so flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection.
Very good food and menu. Definitely recommend if you like the real deal! The Carne Asada fries were excellent.
Man this is the second time we've been here and we just love it. Had a piece of the chocolate flan cake and it was delightful. The woman who helped us said the owner made it. Love to see restaurant owners who are passionate about it! I had the steak fajitas and my husband had al pastor torta and we both really enjoyed it. The street corn was really good too!
For me at least their are three main types of American Mexican, western mex, wet and dry mex. If your looking for a saucy, greasy kind of spot. Then they're definety best in town. I personally prefer this type of Mexican most. I recommend there beef enchiladas Verdes with some queso and extra rice mix the two together and you won't regret it!!!

Use to be my favorite place to come and eat with my family. Today was very dissappointing. Been waiting for more than 30 mins for the food (there was like 2 smaller families here already waiting for their food) and so I went and asked the lady what was taking so long. She was like oh I don't know Im not the cook blah blah blah. So we started off bad blaming other people. Still no food... will be a while til I ever decide to come back.
