We had a very wonderful experience at Lacosta, went there for Cinco de Mayo, Margaritas were legendary, service was amazing! We have a very wonderful server whose Name Escapes me at the moment but was able to really read the room and follow our cues. 10 out of 10 would recommend oh, this place is probably my favorite in Wilmington North Carolina
Not sure why this place is rated well. We were so disappointed with our food. I ordered taquitos and received the photo attached. These are not taquitos in any way. Food was edible, but not tasty - quite bland.
Our favorite neighborhood spot. The owners are so friendly. The food is consistent. Prices are very reasonable. They are very accommodating to any request. Just overall super easy casual experience with consistently good food.
I ate there last night and was so disappointed. I’ve eaten twice before and it was great! I ordered the combination with taco and enchilada. The sauce on the enchilada was disgusting. I only took a couple bites. I was asked if I wanted something else and just to be safe I ordered a cheese quesadilla. Got the bill and the charge was still on there for the entire amount. I did eat the taco but only a couple of bites of rice and enchilada were missing. At least knock a few bucks off.
The pork is absolutely delicious. I recommend the enchiladas, tamales, and of course a margarita. Everything is wonderful here so you can't go wrong with anything you order.
Love this restaurant!!! Best Mexican restaurant in Wilmington! I always try to make my trips to Wilmington so that I'm there in time for lunch or dinner!!!
Place is kind of funky and cute. Quesadilla, rice & beans all very good. Excellent salsa and fresh chips. Attentive service. Flan was overcooked and not edible.

Good food! Especially like the chili rellenos, tacos, chips and salsa! Andrea, Johanna and Olivia make you feel right at home. Great attentive staff. Very Covid conscience as well! Try a Long Island Iced Tea if you dare. Not a bad drink at all! I will be back!!!!
