great breakfast. nice people
Stopped at Jimbos for breakfast on the way home to Raleigh, NC from the beach in 1995. It has been a tradition ever scince. We just love Jimbos. Great food and an even greater staff.
Dropped in for breakfast with the family. Got there early in the morning before the crowd got to big. Immediately got a table and ordered our breakfast: grilled pork chops with 2 eggs, home fries and a biscuit; country fried steak with 2 eggs, home fries and a biscuit; and a western omelette with home fries and a biscuit. Lots of home fries and the biscuits were fluffy and light. Great service. The gravy for the cfs was kind of bland.
The waitress was amazing. We had to wait for a seat but it moved fast and was totally worth it!!! Been in Wilmington over a year and must say this is the perfect home cooking. The hasbrowns are real and tasted great!!! They even sell shirts and hoodies. Highly recommend. Only open 6am to 2pm and normally busy but again, worth the wait.
Breakfast was fairly good here. We did find it to be a little pricy for what you get. Service was fine.
Will be back. Excellent service, food was made fast and was delicious. They buttered the toast and continuously refilled coffee.
Hadn't been there in years, so thought we would try it again. The waitress had the personality of sheetrock! The food was ok, but not what I had remembered. It was raining outside, and chilly, and we nearly froze with the a/c on! I was not impressed and have no intention of going back.
Our waitress that we had I think her name was Becky, she is a asset to your company. She was very courteous and kind and she brought our meal out lickity split. I really enjoyed the food. That's the first time that I have had breakfast there. I wish that you were open longer in the evening. But you got to do what you got to do.GODSPEED
My son lives near by and recomended this place. It was horrible. Don't eat the liver pudding unless you really like strong liver. The bacon wasn't cooked enough. Our waitress Becky never cracked a smile until I asked her name. After that she was pleasant to talk to.We can normally eat breakfast for 3 under $30, we spent 45 on 2 grown ups and a 3 yr old.
Good down home cooking with consistently good food and service.
