I had been looking for a good Jamaica spot, since the last one I went to closed. This place went beyond my expectations. What impressed me the most was the sizes of the plates you get for the price. They know how to cook there....you can tell they want you to be satisfied each time you come. Because the food is Good.

Very disappointed. If you want to pay 18$ for a few pieces of thin cut oxtail, bland cabbage, and no plantains or rice coming with your plate, go here. I have eaten a lot of Jamaican food, and I never leave anything left on my plate. I always ask for extra gravy on the rice because the gravy is supposed to be good to the last drop. This did not taste Jamaican. The oxtail was tender, but the sauce honestly tasted like really salty Mccormick roast beef mix. I didn't taste any herbs/thyme, no hint of clove, no scotchbonnet, nothing, just really salty brown sauce. I almost didn't even want to finish it was so salty. When you get the plate it is presented like you get a couple good size pieces of oxtail, but in actuality, they take 1 normal oxtail and slice it into a few pieces. I have never seen this done before and felt so ripped off. I scooted all the oxtail together (3 slices) and it was really just a couple bites of meat per slice, for 18$. Normally you at least get one good size piece and a couple smaller but chunky pieces..This is not a cheap meal. We got 2 plates, my husband and I, and it was nearly 40 dollars for a lot of disappointment. Rice, beans, cabbage, plantains, are cheap ingredients. At least give people willing to pay for oxtail a decent size piece of meat. I will never go back. I gave the rest of the rice and sauce to my dog…I never have done that before. Oh and also they have no beer. "Bar and grill"?

The food is okay for the South but does not compare to real Jamaican food the seasoning is too salty not flavored with enough herbs and spices they have Roti on the menu but don't have Roti in the store overpriced for the amount of food that you get compared to New York where you get more flavored food and more for your money

Got some jerk chicken and escovitch chicken for lunch with curry vegetables, fries, candied yams and plantains as the sides. The jerk chicken was well flavored and tender. The curry vegetables had the distinct curry flavor. The yams and plantains were excellent. Fries were good. The escovitch chicken had a strong vinegar taste, stronger than expected; didn’t expect it that strong.

this food is so so good. i’ve been wanting some for a while and i got some on uber eats and i am sitting at my table crying because it’s so good. i love this restaurant

Nigel catered for my wedding reception recently and it was amazing. He was early to setup even though it was complimentary. My guests were amazed at how delicious everything was. Even if you're not jamaican I would definitely recommend Jam Rock for any function. I'm completely satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again.

Great place to eat. So much flavor in their jerk chicken. Better than my usual place to go in GA.

Today was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. Restaurant was clean and had a relaxing vibe. The young Woman at the Front counter was polite, patient and helpful. The food was delicious and you received a good portion size… The prices were reasonable priced.. Definitely pay this restaurant a visit..

Very small restaurant with great food. Wouldn't call it a sports bar bc it had no type of games. Curry goat, jerk chkn, peas nd rice, cabage were well seasoned.

Was looking forward to the mac and cheese but it was different from before. Cabbage and jerk chicken was amazing. Service can be a little better also.
