This place has a wonderful ambiance and really awesome decoration and a real sense of style! The staff was so nice and helpful and were always on the ball and speedy with our food and check! The FOOD! Wow so dang good! Everything in the menu here looks amazing and the meal I had lived up to the description! This place is wonderful and I hope it stays around for a long time! Look forward to visiting again!
The lanterns, koi pond, etc make a lovely atmosphere. We had spring rolls (goi kan), pad thai, coconut soup (thom ka gai) and Happy Asian Medley. The spring rolls and coconut soup were very good but everything else was oversalted. Maybe it was a bad night in the kitchen? We had reserved a phuket but were seated at an outside table with no fan on a very warm evening. The flies were impossible and my grandson ended up with insect bites all over his legs. We asked to be moved but were told the wait would be at least an hour and a half.
While vacationing in Wrightsville Beach, my wife and I happened to discover this restaurant. Glad we decided to try it. Went during lunch. Very busy but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was great, she recommended several of the lunch specials and we were not disappointed. We enjoy trying restaurants that vacationers may not try or be aware of. Wish we had more time as I would have liked to try going for dinner.
Very interesting menu choices and most items met expectations. Pork egg rolls were meaty. Salmon entree was tepid. Large portions. Server was helpful and food came at good pace. Ate indoors due to high heat. Flies were persistent and annoying.
Worth the wait! Delicious food and drinks, several vegetarian options, and a gorgeous atmosphere! We've gone many times, and in my experience there is often a 40 minute wait for dinner, longer around busy seasons, but it's worth it. You can have a drink at the bar while you wait. Outdoors is my favorite, even in the heat of summer. The lanterns and garden are beautiful. Inside is beautifully decorated and great for a romantic or business lunch, because this place is made to impress. For lunch I love the presentation of the delicious soups, and salads, and Thai iced tea. At night, the vegetarian samosas, dumplings, curries, pineapple rice are amazing, and my husband likes the scallops and seafood. There are so many great cocktails, and the signature, "Naga Knockout" is served in a cute tiki glass! Don't forget the coconut cake! You may need to get it to go, because there is so much wonderful food. Indochine does not disappoint! ❤️
Only used the take out because it was Saturday night and a 45 minute to an hour wait just to be seated. We used the takeout which still took approximately 40 minutes to be ready, but we phoned ahead and didn't need to wait long. Calling is better than the app because the app estimated 1 to 1 1/2 hours before the food would be ready. Twice as long as calling!
I loved the atmosphere, there was an issue though she took my number but wrote my number in wrong and I ended up waiting longer waiting for a text on my table but my husband let her know and they sat us immediately. I would give it 3 but the atmosphere and food made up for it. And the waitress took entirely too long to come and it was cold outside I was shivering the entire time. But she was very sweet and did have a grou so I try to be understanding. The Rangoon’s were amazing and the soft shell crab was good
This place has everything you need to have an special evening. The food was amazing accompanied by an interesting scenery. We had the joy to eat nearby the garden waterfall with the fishes.
My favorite restaurant in Wilmington. The atmosphere, especially in the backyard, is so freaking beautiful. The scenery and landscaping they've done to make you feel like you are actually in Thailand.....is crazy!!! The Thai tea is amazing and the food is in huge portions.
Had a really great dinner! I can't remember our servers name for the life of me but she was a blonde had her hair in a bun and took awesome care of us! Food was very delicious and portions are huge.
