I spoke with your manager on duty that night and still there was no resolve. I waited over a hour. When I was Originally told 10 minutes. No problem, except no one had the courtesy to let me know as they passed me in wait. If you are the owner I recommend provide morals and ethics classes for your staff before inviting anyone to return. This was just the beginning of the evening. Our chef does not bring enough food to prepare and notices this but says nothing. Instead everyone on the table gets mushrooms which I enjoy but me. I mention it as the chef is walking away and I was made to feel like I was begging. I thought I paid for the mushrooms as well, I asked the chef. Who shrugs and nonchalantly responds. Again I spoke with the manager.RidiculousThanks
I have never had such a poor experience with a cook in the 15 years i have been going there. The cook started out with making jokes about politics. I felt this was not the way to start off a dinner experience. He also used fowl language the whole time he was cooking. We were at a table with another family with a 13 year old and 5 year old. The grandmother finally asked him to stop using curse words while young children were present. He still continued. Then proceeded to speak non-stop about being on TikTok. He explained the Tiktok and it was not about him cooking, it was about racism. Our table was an African American family and were offended. He spent much more time picking on everyone at the table and not paying attention to the execution of the food. The scallops were overcooked and broccoli was as well. The cook went by the name of BJ. I will go back but will not have my dinner cooked by him. Spending $150.00 for 2 people, was not worth the way our table was treated.
We had the absolute GREATEST chef tonight!! His name was Joe and he was so entertaining that every person/couple at our table gave him a tip! We have never done that before. Our waitress was super attentive as well and the place was slammed! We never had to wait for drink refills and when I asked for a knife, it was there in a minute! Best experience in a very long time?
I don’t know if this was a “off” night for this place but we had taken our Daughter for her tenth birthday for dinner last night and we literally walked out before we even got our drinks… health score when entering was 91. I will say even with a packed parking lot there was not a wait for a table.Cleanliness was definitely not up to any type of standard, tables that were supposed to be ready for next guest were dirty, you could see that they were half wiped off… the hibachi grill we were seated at still had food on it from previous food that was cooked…carpeted floor was dirty, food and trash under our seats and it felt like my shoes were sticking to the carpet. I also wasn’t asked by the hostess if I wanted to dine at a shared table or by ourselves, kind of something I’d want to know if I have an option of. Our waitress seemed friendly for the few minutes we were there.Needless to say I wasn’t going to risk eating here if the cleaning standards in plain view were this low so I cannot comment on the actual food. This was our first experience at this restaurant and will unfortunately be our last, for the prices being charged I expected more of an elevated dining experience even for hibachi.
I don't know if it's just me and my luck but everytime I eat here the wait for a cook is between 40 minutes and an hour. I ordered water for my drink because I just like water had to ask the waiter to take a moment and give me a refill . Seems like he forgot about us. I love the food but I don't eat here often because of the slow service.
Arrived at 7:45 and was told it would be a wait for 30-45 minutes for TWO people which is not big deal on a Friday night until a party of 8 was seated before us and then a party of 5 without a reservation. A party of two who put their name down after us was seated before us and a party of three was also seated before us. We asked about our party of two and was told a few more minutes. We get seated at 8:45 but our chef arrives at 10! The shrimp tempura was flavorless and was very greasy. The waiter, soup, salad, chef, and sherbet was the only positives. The chef was cool and was entertaining. If the wait for seating and his arrival was shorter then we would think about returning. If you like to wait over an hour to be seated and over an hour to eat then this is the place for you. The reviews made us try it out but I guess we chose a bad night to try it out. There should be a warning of short staff if that was the reason for the wait of the chef to arrive at our table. Short staff during a pandemic is very understanding but was never given a warning of wait for seating and eating before putting our name down.
I was one of a party of 11. We made reservations and I'm glad we did as it was extremely busy with a long wait time. The chicken teriyaki was good as was the spicy tuna roll. The hibachi chef was very entertaining but the service was slow. I am assuming that it was a result of understaffing because our server was very attentive once we got service.
Six adults and one child=Just under $200.00. Service was fine... none of us were impressed with the food. Way toooo much money. Would not recommend this eating establishment, and no, we won't be going back.
Such a fun experience every time I go the people are friendly and fun the show is fun overall a great place to go
Great food and atmosphere
