Overall, very good, however, we got our entree within 5 minutes of receiving our salad and appetizer. Normally, quick service would be great, but we hadn't even started on the appetizer when the entree showed up! A good size portion of food for the money, except for the crab dip appetizer. I've gotten larger portions at other places for the same or less $. I understand that all costs have gone up, but just sayin'. Server was great!

My guest enjoyed her raw oysters, which were described as a "mixed bag" when we asked about the type of oysters on the menu last night. The garlic rolls were doughy and seemed under-cooked. My crab soup was too salty to eat. I was advised that it always tastes like that. The Mac N Cheese was cold. The Flounder with Caper Butter was so overcooked that I couldn't cut it. My guest's Grilled Scallops and Flounder were fine. The lettuce in the Caesar Salad was rusty. The garden salad was fresher.
First time here, our dinner was fabulous. Grilled shrimp with side of grits, snow crab legs and kids chicken tenders. All delicious! Our server Mandy was super kind. Also, the salt hand scrub in the bathroom is to-die-for, I bought some to take home.We will be back!
Wonderful food, especially the grits on lobster sauce and fresh caught swordfish in sauce with nuts. Charming server. We were early on a Saturday night, there were lots of families, quiet relaxed atmosphere.
Cheeseburger seemed like a frozen patty and the oysters and fried flounder were tough and dry, respectively. The blackened fish was way over seasoned. Pretty disappointing even though our server was very kind. Would not visit again.

We have enjoyed Hieronymous Seafood for years. We are natives of Wilmington and appreciate the fresh catch and the options for preparation. We have never been disappointed. The prices are higher than most restaurants in town but it is worth it. Service is always good, friendly and efficient. One of our favorite places to eat.
