I was enjoying an evening stroll through the beautiful town of Wilmington when I happened upon Growlers Tavern. Drew greeted me with a soft smile and said “Id please.” He took my id because it was fake and told me to have a good night. The hospitality is out of this world! P.s if you have a fake don’t fall for Drew’s smile. 10/10. Definitely recommend!!!!
Home of the most unprofessional bartenders in the city! Dirty bar with staff to match the vibe. Be careful the bartenders like to be rude, snatch out your hand and throw GLASS!
Super fun, cheap, drinks were good
To just chill or hang in the late afternoon or early evening it's fine, becomes less fun late at night. Gets very busy and hard to get a drink. They do have lots of fun games and activities though, which is fun as long as you don't have to fight the crowd.
Coffee shots are good, but the pit gives me weird vibes. Bathroom stinks up the place and the bartenders can be rude and surly. Honestly, wasted potential
Great place to drink but the jukebox blocking explicit songs is whack, it's a 21+ bar let's be real here.
our visit to Growler’s Tavern was the highlight of stay in Wilmington…when we return, whenever that will be, we will be sure to come back to this very hospitable basement tavern..it gets 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great atmosphere. I don’t usually go to bars/taverns but this is one of the better ones I been to. Good vibe and friendly employees!
Cool hangout, type of Basement bar, inexpensive & Bartenders very attentive
