Came out for what we thought was gonna be a quick lunch but ended up waiting 2 hours for our food. One meal had to be sent back because it was done incorrectly. Our server was super sweet and we know none of it was her fault at all . Just feels like we wasted most of our day waiting for mediocre food. Also not sure why they asked how we like our burgers cooked when they were both just burnt. Disappointed. Better kitchen staff is needed .
If I could leave negative stars, I would! We had the most horrible experience @ Fox and Hound in Wilmington. The service sucked, food and drinks took forever to come out, and when it did come to the table, orders were all messed up. The drinks tasted like juice and the wings were hard and rubbery. When we asked for our checks, it took over 45 minutes to get our checks. When we repeatedly asked for our checks and finally walked to the front to find someone to help us, our server was at the bar drinking and taking shots. And on top of all that, there were roaches crawling around by our table. Never have I received such horrible customer service at a restaurant!
Stopped for lunch after a movie. They weren’t busy but said they were short handed on servers so there would be a 15-20 minute wait. We were fine with the wait but wanted to know if we could sit at our table and chat while we waited for a server to be available and we were told no, We had to wait for table. ( there were many many empty tables including the outdoor seating). I questioned her and explained we didn’t mind the wait but would like to sit since we were with my parents who are older. Again. No. We had to wait outside.Obviously we left. Went somewhere else and we were seated right away. Waited patiently and had a nice lunch. Second bad experience with one of my fave places to eat, fox and hound, won’t go back again
Service was incredibly slow. The ceiling was leaking, and their solution was to cover the nearby TV with a trash bag. They were out of potato skins. The rice on one dish was dried out. The tater-tots seemed under done and they tasted like they were fried in old oil. Our server said they had a 30 min wait to be seated even though half the tables weren't full. They were very understaffed, but no one seemed like they were even mildly in a hurry. I used to rave about this place, but it definitely isn't what it used to be. On the plus side... They have trivia and a decent beer selection.
Everyone in the party agreed that the Pizza tasted like Chef-Boyardee. The salads were sad…nothing to them and the honey lime vinaigrette was basically just honey. The salmon was totally over cooked with no sauce. Service was very good, cocktails and beer were good.
HVAC was not cooling the dining area well. Seemed to be short staffed. Vegetables came out completely uncooked (which was fine by me and I was surprised that they start with fresh veggies).
There was stuff floating in our drink, the AC was broken, and one of the large TVs was broken with a trash bag over it.
Good spot for after-work drinks and apps with coworkers. Fun atmosphere, we enjoy Thursday night trivia
Clean. Staff was not attentive. Food was definitely not worth the price. Was not told by server of upcharge until ticket arrived. Didn't know who our server was. We went during the lunch time frame. Sweet tea was nasty. Would not recommend and will not return ?.
We went here on Thursday night. When we first got here there was no host to be found we stood at the front for 10 min before a server came out and helped us. Once seated our server apologized and was great I can’t remember his name but he has dark hair and facial hair. But the food was good and like I said our server was good! The host needs to be more attentive though if it wasn’t so late we would’ve left!
