Everyone lovessss FAB! I’ve lived here for a long time and I went today again for the first time in a long time and I just don’t get the hype. The food is super bland and the sweet tea is EXTREMELY SWEET. The queso and salsa bar are always very good but the chips were chewy today as well. The atmosphere is great and there is always something to look at.
This was the second time our family has been to Flaming Amy's. We didn't care for it the first time, but decided to give it a second shot because of its uniqueness and great reviews. Still didn't like it. The food was bland and something we could have easily thrown together at home. None of the salsas are great; the fresh tomato is too watery and the others just don't taste great. On the plus side, it does have a cool vibe and the customer service was good. We won't be going back.
It has nice ambience good food, 9 type of salsa to taste. Flamingo hot is my personal favorite. Must try their variety of beer selection. There price is also economical, song selection is great. They have outside sitting also available. Getting one less star as restroom need some nice clean ups and lady taking order need to have listening skills. They messed up on my order by giving wrong selections. Please be careful and double check the order placed, specially if ordering Take Out order.Parking is not an issue here, it has about parking space.
I really don’t understand how this place has such a great rating. The food was mediocre and made my belly hurt. The salsa bar ?? you can buy better stuff in the grocery store. The service!! ?? so rude!! If you want a good burrito…DONT GO TO FLAMING AMYS!!
The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Service was fast and accurate. They have a big selection of burritos. Have a good variety of different salsas to choose from. The food we got was good. Could have been seasoned better. The chicken was very plain.
Great kitschy place. Lots of cute fun decor. Food is always delicious. I like the Asian inspired burritos. The salsa bar is awesome. All of them are really good. We always come in when we are in Wilmington.
this place is amazing. it was my first time here as I was in town from Virginia Beach for a show. some local friends brought us here for dinner before the show and it was definitely worth it. inexpensive, tasty, and the staff was awesome. will definitely return when I make my way back down.
Most lousy flavorless shrimp tacos ever. Barely a dash of salt or pepper and barely grilled. More like boiled. And too much peel left on the. One bite I was done. Mango salsa only thing going for it. Burrito the same lack of flavor. They used to be decent but imma pass.
I loved eating here when I was in college, now 10 years later it is just as good as I remembered. Definitely the best burritos in town.
Been coming here since they opened. No one thought they would last, every previous restaurant in this location failed. It's the great quality, fair pricing, quirkiness and sense of humor that keeps them going. The guac is better but still not quite as good as it was in the early 00s.
