Everything I had was delicious and fresh. I must admit, and I have considered my role in this, that I feel the employer should pay a fair wage and not force patrons to tip for just doing their jobs and putting food on a tray. It is almost becoming guilt tipping for everything and post pandemic, we need to change back. This happens in many places but trip to Dickies was "would you like to add a tip for the guy making your sandwich??" What? Cmon. We need to stop guilt tipping and I guess it is just on me to put 0 in starting now.
Food was dry, employees were friendly but need to be clean cut.
So this is my second time here. I wanted to give her the old one two before I gave a review. Both times were the same. The ladies working there were very sweet and honestly the best thing about the visit. It's really the only reason they get 2 stars! As far as the food goes it just seems like it is all pre packaged food. The Mac and cheese is a runny goop of a mess that is tasteless in my opinion. The fried okra is basically like the frozen stuff in a bag from the grocery store. The Turkey was dry and somewhat cool. Not even warm. Brisket was dry and rather bland. The sweet tea was probably some of the best I have had but that's not why we go out to eat is it?! The star of the show was the roll lol. Just a piece of bread that was not over cooked or under seasoned! It was not over dry but perfect! But then all they really had to do was pull that out of the bag.
The meat was good. The Mac and cheese wasn't. I'll try them again and grab a different side and report back. Good prices.
I haven't been to this location in a long time... It was really quick and tasty. The seasoning on the fries is amazing.
