Anytime I spend $135 on two people I expect good memories. This is not the case for Crave Hot Dogs. To purchase a beer you have to preload a card that operates the self-serve beer taps. The system let's you choose from multiple taps and charges by the ounce, that includes foam. The problem is during my experience I had to return to the counter five times to get my card re-authorized, that means standing in line ever single time. My son and I estimated we drank 7 beers total, maybe 8 if they counted the one foam filled glass. The bill for the beer was over $70.The food experience wasn't much better. The menu is promising with some great selections, but I am not sure the end result matches the wonderful photos on the menu. I ordered macaroni and cheese topped with BBQ brisket served in a iron skillet. What I was served was a cold skillet with barely warm macaroni and cheese, topped with warm brisket with a handful of cold shredded cheese on top. The brisket was hot enough to melt the cheese, but I was not standing in that line to get serviced. We finished the below average hot wings and requested a take-out box for our main courses to go home and heat them up in the microwave. The bill for the food portion was around $65 and probably fair if it was served correctly.

Atmosphere was nice but the food was subpar. The brisket Mac and cheese sandwich was really dry and the Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it’s been out all day. The hot dog wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I’ve had a lot better. Their tater tots were really bad and it’s hard to mess up tater tots lol. The food is really over priced for how it tasted. Sorry Crave but you need to do better.

We got BBQ wings, chili cheese bratwurst, and pretzel bites with cheese. The lady at the counter was really helpful and kind and helping us figure out what to get on our first visit. We will definitely be back!

I came for lunch, and decided on the Mac n brisket bowl, the macaroni is overcooked and lacks flavor, imagine if you over boiled kraft Mac n cheese, and forgot to add the cheese. That's what it tastes like, water. The brisket was okay at best but not even what I would consider warm as the cheese on top was nowhere near melted. The brisket also seems slightly over done to my liking but that's personal preference. Overall not worth 15 dollars for a meal and a watered down tasting drink.

Unfriendly staff and overpriced cold food

despite the fact that they had over a hundred tickets at one time and only one cook, the staff was calm and unflappable. They maintained a positive and professional attitude even when the customers were irate. the food was excellent.

My wife and I went for the first time this evening. I ordered a $15 brisket plate, asked for fries as the side got cold tots, my wife repeatedly asked for the brisket, Mac and cheese SANDWICH and was served the bowl instead. On top of that my meal which should have been no more than $10 for the amount I was given, the coleslaw was turning brown and gross, my brisket was 90% grease and the other 10% was hard chopped up pieces and fat. The employees were outside smoking and acted like it was a burden to be doing their jobs. We literally watched someone stand waiting to order and then walked out. The man taking our order was obviously intoxicated and all the red flags were there. Also they laughed when my wife told them their sprite was out and the young woman said it was fine until her male coworker said try it. So they knew it was bad and didn't do anything about it!!!! They are rude don't care and the amount of food you get for a $15 "brisket plate" is ridiculous. Will not be returning!!!! The picture below is just and example of some of the grease that was in the brisket the rest of the bowl was at least still half full of grease. I ended up throwing out my food and my wife and I shared her dish which was okay and again though was not what she had ordered but it was definitely a waste of $30 I regret giving them a tip when I ordered but as someone who has worked in the industry I always leave a tip. It was completely dead and they couldn't be bothered to clean the dirty tables or the bathroom that had mildew on the toilet pee on the floor and incredibly unsanitary. Train your employees better and drug test!

The hot dogs were good especially for the Happy Hour price. My brisket sandwich was good, piled high with meat. The coleslaw was great in my opinion, super creamy. The employees were all nice and had good service. It's a good vibe inside with the beer taps and comfy chairs. We also got mozzarella sticks and sweet potato tots, those were not good at all. Manager... I'm pretty sure the oven temperature or cook times need to be adjusted because they were not crisp and the breading on the mozz sticks didn't seem to be cooked through! That should be an easy fix. If we come back we'll stick to coleslaw for our sides.

Had a great meal a few days ago. The hot dogs were expensive at about $4.50 a piece (from memory) but were worth the price. I previously thought Charlie Graingers had the best hot dogs in the area, but Crave now holds that title for me. The hot dogs were 100% beef and large, with a soft bun and the right amount of each topping I wanted. My wife got a combo, then when the order was brought to our table I found they actually threw in a free side of tots for me. Those were also fried well! Overall a good experience, just be aware it's gonna cost more than a street stall (but again, worth the price).
