We visited Cook Out in Wilmington while on vacation. Cheeseburger, fries, and Strawberry shake. The fries were okay...but the burger was very good! The shake was unbelievably good! So thick you needed a spoon to eat it. We were very impressed.
I love the Cookout Classic burger. However, this particular visit the hamburger buns were not fresh.
I wish I could give 5 stars for the service AND 5 stars for the new straws! Service is always top notch at the Southern UNCW location, but now that they have new, milkshake-proof straws, I can't get enough! Straws are fat enough to get the chunks of peanut butter through them and strong enough to not collapse when you get a blockage... in the straw, not your arteries. If I had to choose between the service and the straws, I'd be hard pressed because they're both so great!
Excellent place for shakes & love that they’re open til 3am Sun- Thurs and until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays, which is super helpful for someone who generally doesn’t get off work until midnight or later.
ALWAYS trying to Rush thur every one I've been to, even if noone is behind you always in a hurry if crowded or a line I could completely understand, but like that even if no line & I visited cook outs thur different regions and states.
Timing was okay she's chicken wrap was good this burger though looks good and all you know the jalapenos on it are as big as my thumbs something's got to give doesn't pay to be lazy.
Only time I’ve ever had bad cookout. Quesadillas were so burnt it was inedible!
I ordered Cajun fries & it was like someone just shaked the whole bottle of seasoning on my fries & it was seasoning on my side of hush puppies that was cooked kind of hard, & my burger on the outside was cooked hard. & my portions just seemed small. The best thing was my tea. Don’t think I’ll revisit.
Great food combos at a fair price, service is spotty, my orders were rushed and served with wrong ingredients requested
I love this cook out. They are always super nice. I always get the bqq plate with extra hush puppies.
