I traveled out of my way to Clean Eatz to find that they only have takeout and not even any food that can be purchased and eaten cold. They said it all had to go into the microwave. They suggested a smoothie so I ordered the "dirty peanut". I am from California and was completely surprised when they brought out a rather small white styrofoam cup with plastic straw. For some reason, I thought a place called Clean Eatz would use paper or biodegradable products? Additionally, it tasted very bad with a strong chemical taste, reminiscent of the early days when smoothies first became a thing. The smoothie and a small bottle of water cost me around $14.... a complete ripoff! Steer clear!
I come here almost every week to pick up their meal plans. Healthy and delicious tho on the pricy side but on the other hand there’s no shopping, prepping, or cooking required. If you properly recycle you have to wash your containers before tossing them in the bin so there is that but they’re easy to clean and if you want you can keep some and resuse them. Staff are always kind and super helpful and I like their rewards system definitely helps with the bill from time to time. Haven’t had lunch here but if my work was closer this would be a frequent lunch stop for a bite. They also have a freezer section for last weeks meals and pizza to grab and go if you’re inclined.
Cannot compliment enough. Great service, great variety, and convenient. They have amazing build a bowl, in which even Bison in an option. Flavors of sauces were excellent, not to mention are healthy and they were very willing to accommodate diets.
Staff was very welcoming and informative! I am looking forward to becoming a regular! Portions for Value- Excellent!

I enjoyed my bison/brown rice bowl...the veggies I picked were cooked nicely. Would eat here again. Why 4 stars? Styrofoam cups. Come on...we can do better. If we care about clean eats...why can't we care a little more about a clean earth? ? Just sayin'....?...luv the beach ?
Great tasting food in adequate proportions. They also support UNCW athletics. Love their display and ads at basketball games. I love the food and their support of the community.
First time here. Loved the food. I had the Bison Burger with Sweet Potato Waffle fries. Burger was spot on with some nicely diced pineapple and I had it Teriyaki style. Very good. "LIV" the cook was awesome. Hope to go back soon. Was visiting from out of town. I would love reg potato fries but not on menu. Drinks were healthy!
