Excellent food and preparation. Inventive. Too expensive, however. $330.00 for 4 people. $18.00 mixed drinks? Really? Kind of feel ripped off.
We were visiting Wilmington from VA and my sister friend recommended this place. The service was great. I had the Chef special, panko catfish over grits and collard greens with a corn salsa. It was okay, the grits were dry. like any grits once it is cold they do harden. it would have been nice to have some juice from the corn salsa, it was just corn. i did order a side of fried shrimp. OMG they were delicious! my husband ordered the seafood platter, fried fish of the day (catfish) fried oysters, and fried shrimp. it was served with collards and sweet potato puree. That was AMAZING! Appetizers, we ordered the oysters that was great, cheese, bacon, collards and the chef special, tropical shrimp ceviche. that was GREAT! we were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with a chocolate cake. it was really good. You must have a reservation. When we visit Wilmington again, we will go back. I know my husband will get the same dish, but i will try the salmon the next time and hopefully they will have the tropical shrimp ceviche. This is a place you must try! Everyone was great from the time you walked in to the time you left.

Very good! The soft shell crab over low country rice with lobster bisque was delicious! The shrimp & grits with shitake mushroom gravy was a different spin but very tasty! The oyster appetizer with greens was delicious! Great dinner! Will be back again when in the area & will spread the word about this place!
Absolutely amazing menu. Fresh and local ingredients. Waitstaff knowledgeable and attentive to customers. Wonderful atmosphere and menu, makes you want to start planing your order and time to come back to experience more culinary delights.
