If you’re looking for a ritzy, fine dining establishment, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for some good ole fashioned soul food, you’ve come to the right place. The restaurant itself could be a little cleaner and needs to be updated but nothing beats the food! The buffet is hot, fresh and delicious. The staff is super nice and attentive. A hidden barbecue gem in Wilmington!
Was so excited to eat here and had expectations for the food that were probably too high. I have to preface by saying the service was phenomenally friendly. The patrons also happened to be very nice. The atmosphere was older, dark, dingy, and most of the food was just average. The presentation in many instances was actually pretty unappetizing to me. However, the blueberry cobbler was amazing! On the flip, it is the only thing I’d come back for aside from the friendly service. Maybe we came on an off day for the food.
This place is great! It's a nice old school southern buffet. Definitely not an upscale restaurant, so come with an open mind. Good was described as salty by another review, I did not have that experience. Good was fresh, and hot, cabbage was on point too. Service was amazing!!
Great southern hospitality. Today was my first time eating here today, and I happy that I did. The catfish solid, I wish that it was fried a little harder it's still a solid 10!!!! The sides were ok, but ALL the staff was awesome enough for me to want to hug them ALL.Next time I will get ALL catfish. Shout out to my big brother, whom the restaurant is totally grateful to serve him for his service in multiple branches of the military.
Best buffet I’ve ever been to and best bbq in NC- hands down. The owners and the staff are all awesome! Casey’s has won best buffet pretty much every year since I moved to Wilmington and it is well deserved. If you like good ole southern cooking like grandma used to make- do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Been three different times and they were closed every time. Why have a restaurant if you are not open when you are listed to be open
Ok y’all, here’s the deal… Casey’s isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely for me! Why? Because I love authentic, down-home, southern food when I can find it. Casey’s does it right! I mean it’s like going to a family reunion where everyone brings the best dish they know how to make.If you can glance over the restaurant severally needing a makeover from the tables, to the carpet, to the cash register then you will thoroughly enjoy yourself.Friendly staff giving you southern charm with amazing country food. Food tasted good, well cooked, its soul food, very southern. I wish the buffet was more organized and the place was cleaner. This place and its food is not for everyone. Good and friendly service though.
