This food was DELICIOUS, Chip was our waiter and he was awesome! The hostesses at the front desk made it happen on the busiest day! Our food was flawless, this was my 3rd trip and we will be returning soon ?

Still absolutely love this restaurant! Last time I came it was 10/10, I went to the other location in Wilmington. When I was here for work this past weekend I had to come back for the broiled seafood platter and this location was closest. Service is great. I highly recommend making a reservation, they get busy QUICK. The only reason for 4 stars is because the fish filet this time around was a little dry & overcooked, last time it was incredible & extremely flaky. Scallops + the clam chowder soup are absolutely delish. They also have great drink specials throughout the week.
We visit here, or at least order from here a few times a month, it’s reasonably priced and for the most part perfectly cooked. We used to eat in there, but since COVID we only order to go and eat outside at a picnic table.We get the same thing almost every time. My wife get’s the clam strip basket and I get my shrimp basket. She gets sweet tea and I get the unsweetened tea. The service is great, just call in ahead of time, they are almost always busy, but it’s always ready by the time we get there. Like I said there have been only a few times they missed something in the order, but not enough to stop going back again and again. We do appreciate they did not hike up prices like everyone else after COVID and have not changed portion sizes or what you get with the order. I know shrimp is shrimp and especially fried shrimp, but whatever or wherever they are getting their shrimp, it is cooked to perfection and breaded just enough, and not too salty. If you want reasonable priced seafood, this is a great place, we have tried both Ogden and Carolina Beach locations, both were excellent! For them, I think they would appreciate my classics and “Love Our Life.” My special selection would be, “The Good Old Days.”
We stopped in on a weekday for a very late lunch/early dinner. Started with a shared cup of “clam chowder”. It had a different & unique flavor and it was very good. The wife had the “smoked salmon Alfredo“ which was OK, but the salmon was a little overcooked. I had “lump crab cake sliders “which I thought were excellent. We took a slice of “Keylime pie” home to eat later, while it was a small slice & pricey ($7.99) it was very tasty & we both enjoyed it. Our server was Mallory & she was excellent. We will definitely continue to eat here again in the future.
Had a wonderful dinner here last night. I strongly recommend making reservations so there's no wait as this restaurant gets extremely busy at night. They also provide a candlelit dinner experience, literally! I had the figure 8 stuffed flounder and it tasted amazing. My only complaint is how small the fish portion was compared to all the rice and green beans I got. Either way, I would recommend a dinner date here while you're in town. Also, don't be fooled by the restaurant's appearance outside the shopping strip, this is definitely high end food worth dressing up for.
Just had the most amazing private party here for 25 here. Kelsey, Joseph, and staff took excellent care of us in both the planning and execution. The food was delicious and service was top notch. The evening could not have gone any better..These folks obviously enjoy what they do. I highly recommend!

A last-minute trip to Wilmington to visit my daughter was full of wonderful surprises including dinner at Cape Fear Seafood Company. I usually stay downtown but this time decided to explore the Porter Neck area. We called the restaurant Saturday around 5:00 for a reservation, you definitely want a reservation, and were flexible with time. The hostess managed a 6:00 slot, perfect. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by a friendly smile, to our delightful and helpful server Christina, the evening was perfect. We both ordered scallops, two different versions and were both delicious. Everything about this weekend fell into place for which I am thankful and next time I'm in town, I will definitely be making another reservation at Cape Fear Seafood.... so many more dishes I need to try!
We didn't know what to expect, but when we went inside we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. Everything was clean and bright and very welcoming. The service was awesome and the food was delicious! We can't wait to go back.
