Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu! Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful food and excellent service. We had the Tom Kha, dumplings and Cha Gio - finished off with the epic coconut cake with ice cream ??
We decided to try a new spot for us tonight. Glad we did. Everything was delicious. Greeted as soon we arrived and seated quickly. Food did not take long at all. It was hot and very tasty. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall we loved everything. The ambiance, service, and food. Very pleasantly pleased. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous elegant decor, I felt like We were in the country of Indochine. It was a treat for the senses. The food was tasty and delicious. The service was good and a young man who was not our waiter was super helpful as well. Note there are no lunch specials on Saturdays. That was the only negative that we weren’t told this clearly. Nancy was a sweet waitress.
Generally love coming here, there was a time when I would come weekly. Tonight we ordered some of the same items we normally order and they tasted off. The rice dish had absolutely no heat even when we had ordered the hot version, and barely any salt in it. The orange beef was extremely tough but I didn’t even get to make it to that part in the conversation. Called back after getting home and trying the food, spoke to the nice hostess who promptly gave the phone to management. The man who got on the phone continuously spoke over me as I tried to explain to him the rice dish tasted off, and there was no spice AT ALL. He told me sometimes spice gets added sparingly depending on the kitchen, and suggested we should’ve taken the hot sauces there to adjust the spice ourselves. He said thats the only explanation I can give you, and essentially brushed me off. He finally offered to remake the dish but at that point he had spoke over me so much that I didn’t even want it anymore. Maybe going during lunch is the best option because its always good then.
My family from Tennessee (as well as local family) loved everything about Cafe Chinois! They were truly amazed by the decor, food & service! Ms. Solange has reached the stars with her vision and inspired achievements. The place is a feast for the eyes, soul and taste buds! My favorite dish is yellow curry with shrimp. Coconut cake for dessert is the best!
nice place. good food. many choices.
Management's god awful, just walking around berating his staff while making utterly awful decisions. "Keep the flow up!" As if he's doing anything other than annoying.Meanwhile the food was incredibly bland and kinda bad but we should've realized with how big the menu is. Likely made from frozen, yet for whatever reason it's very expensive here.Waiter was good though!
Food menu is similar to indochine and same great quality. They have a few different items on the menu but I stuck to my favorite pad Thai. The interior atmosphere is amazing and really just a cool place to sit and enjoy a meal.
I've ordered take out from here twice now. It is really pretty inside and I'd like to actually eat in one time to enjoy the decor, atmosphere and drinks. The people working are all very kind. The first time I ordered Zealia was at the front and took my order and I'm pretty sure she's the nicest person I've ever met. She was really sweet and helpful. I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp. The seafood options are shrimp or scallops for $3 extra. The food came out quickly, maybe 10 mintues. When I got home to eat I was disappointed to see only 4 shrimp. But ended up finding a 5th under all the noodles. That 5th made a big difference because 4 shrimp for $3 didn't seem right. The pad Thai was excellent. The shrimp was very good but the pad Thai was so delicious by itself I would honestly be fine eating it without adding anything. The second time I ordered pad see ew. This is normally my favorite Thai dish. Different chef different recipe in this case I guess because if this was the first place I had ever tried pad see ew I would never order it again. It just had an overall salty taste, followed by a burnt aftertaste. Not sure what happened but it was my least favorite pad see ew I've ever eaten. But again the people were friendly and food came out fast!! (This time maybe too fast? I was told it would be 20 min. I got there in 5, went in to pay and was ok with waiting but it was already done!!) With the odd taste and being done so quickly I wondered if I ended up with reheated leftovers or something. Anyway, I still give them 4 stars because even though the food the second time around was pretty terrible, my first experience was excellent. I'll just stick with the pad Thai from now on.
We’ve been twice now, first dinner with out of town family, and today, lunch with my hubby and son. Both were fantastic meals! Great wait staff and cool eclectic interior! Can’t wait to go back!
